If I could give 6 stars I would. This place is amazing: the ambiance, the decor, the menu and the staff. I recommend going... earlier since they order and prep a limited amount of food for the weekend\'s brunches to not waste food (which is a wonderfulconcept). The coco cappuccino is delightful. We went there on Saturday and the place got quite busy. Staff were attentive and friendly. We are family of five so we were able... to share some main dishes. I like the pancake with bubble and the pain with yam or sweet potato sauce. The dishes are colorfulattractive and delicious, definitely a change from traditional brunch. English muffin with coco-curry sauce is also flavorfuland good for vegetarian if replace shrimp by tofu. Cocktails and drink are wonderful. Very satisfied with food and service. Iwill come again. Went here for the first time tonight for dinner with a friend. Very impressed! The menu is limited, but it works! The choices... they have are all so good. A lot of attention to flavor and presentation goes into each dish and this makes it even moreenjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions. The decor is neat as well. Very nice experience at this restaurant! Wasn’t sure what to expect since I didn’t check photos, menu or reviews beforehand... so I went into it blind. I was pleasantly surprised by how well crafted the drinks are.\n\nWith such a large selection andvariety in cocktails, you wouldn’t expect such quality and attention to detail, but the drinks we had werefantastic.\n\nReally cool take on some classic Asian inspired dishes. The carbonara was really interesting and well balanced andthe noodles were cooked to perfection. The coconut & shrimp curry noodle dish was exceptional. Also recommend the bang bangchicken, nice crispy chick without being overly fried.\n\nThe service was on point - friendly, smiling faces greet you and theserver knew his menu well and was able to explain some fine details of the drink menu.\n\nWill be back! Unique in its take on Asian... fusion food and cocktails, you’ll want a taste of everything.\n\nThe staff is so warm and welcoming, knowledgeable andthey’re generally so friendly. I went there for the first time to try their brunch and felt like a regular already!\n\nI alsoabsolutely appreciate the fact that many of their cocktails can be made without alcohol, making the pretty drinks even moreaccessible to all!\n\nLoved Gon Bui and I already have plans to go back this Saturday. What a lovely place. Great service. The bartenders are wizards, every drink was so delicious, rich and flavourful. The chefs in... the kitchen also amazed us. Everything we ordered was unique and delicious. Fried chicken was great, loved the sauce theyinclude. The calamari was excellent, loved the bits of onion and hot pepper. The shrimp dumplings were big and like no otherI’ve ever had, they had a big ball of shrimp inside. The churros was delicious with a rich cream in the middle. Such a niceexperience, the prices for cocktails are insane, all between 16-20$ (+tax/tip) for very small portions, but the drinks arestrong and like no other you’ll ever taste. Gon Bui is a fun place to dine out with friends or a date. The atmosphere is both cozy and romantic. I’ve been there in two... occasions and truly enjoyed the food. The papaya salad is a must as well as the tofu desert. The salmon is a good choice, aswell as the noodles. The only dish that they need to improve is the dumplings. They were dry and not good at all. However, Ihighly recommend this restaurant. Read more
