My review is going to sound like a joke but it's the truth. I went to Kanda with my girlfriend and we ordered a bit of... everything including sushi and fried chicken. It didn't taste like anything. At one point I was actually scared I may havegotten the covid virus because I couldn't taste anything at all. It all tasted just like old ingredients that were forgotten inthe back of the fridge. Which they probably were seeing that it took me a while to figure out that the yellow brownish stuff inthe sushi was avocado. Just very very ripe avocado. We had spicy mayo on the table and it tasted like sad Crisco. Even the soysauce tasted diluted !!! Oh and did I say it was 40$ per person ??? So around 100$ after taxes and tip for both of us. I couldhave eaten so much better for 100$. I rarely felt so cheated and robed in my life. And I got out of there with nausea. DO NOTGO THERE. I know I will never set foot near that place again in my life. Read more

PROS: The best Kanda hands down. The food is delicious and the service is great! The waiters have great patience as well! CONS:... You can never leave a phone message as it's always full. Their website is not updated with the current info (they used to takereservations for 6+ only, now they ask every time you go if you have one (even for 2 or 4 people) but they usually manage to fityou in anyways. There's a 2h time limit to eat which also isn't mentioned) Unless you go eat there every few weeks, you wouldn'tknow Read more

It was my first and last time at Kanda. Floor was dirty the waitress said the floor must have been quickly wash yesterday????.... She came back and told us that they would come clean it but we would have to wait because the kitchen staff was really busy. Thefloor was still dirty when we left. The table was wash by something dirty you could still see that it dried on it like that.Made us wonder what else was dirty.???????? Read more

Spouse has various allergies. We've eaten here twice before and had an adjusted sushi roll - We had to order the full roll which... was no issue, and the chef just needs to leave an ingredient or sauce out; nothing complicated like adding/swapping otherthings. We also brought our own soy sauce as their soy sauce has gluten in it. However the last time we went, they refused tomake any changes. My spouse could eat no sushi due to their unwillingness to work with allergies anymore, so we ended upleaving. We recommend Kavan Sushi instead as they can always make adjustments for allergies and is our usual go-to. Read more
