If you are a foodie avoid this place.. 25$ for a bison burger that looks more like a happy meal, fries…? More like minced... fries fried in used car oil for their color.. I had a great evening!! I started with a brown beer from their fairly large beer selection after being advised by their beer... specialist, and it was quite pleasant. As for food, I had the burrata salad starter and the salmon, rice and veggies as my mainmeal. It was all frankly delicious! The waiter was very friendly and the service was quick and efficient even though they werecompletely full. There was live music which made the atmosphere warm and pleasant. It wasn't too loud, just perfect to allow forsome conversations as well. All in all, I was very pleased with my evening and I recommend Le Balthazar! Read more

Great food, amazing service, and decent prices (for it offers). I say it because some thing can be on the expensive side,... however, the Quality and Quantity of food is worth it !! Plus... there are days that you come in with a live band. Is you want aplace to have a romantic get away... your in the wrong place :) ... nor are they advertising that... if you are looking for afun place to relax with friends !!! The menu is diverse, lots of choices, a bit pricey, the food is ok (the fries had a bit too much oil though). The staff is ok,... it might take a while to get your order, if you're there for a quick bite you might want to reconsider your choice. There wasalso a live band, good music, but I think they should adjust the volume, because it becomes too loud and it's hard to have aconversation, and also it affects the quality of the performance, by turning it into a loud background noise. Meh. The price of the tartares is pretty high considering the portion size. I got the duo and the beef one was ok, salmon a... l'orange had very little orange flavour and was kind of bland. That being said our waitress was great (they had a big problemwith their system and because we were a large group our food took forever!) She ended up giving us some free drinks for ourtroubles.
