Came here for lunch during the week and it wasn?t too busy. We ordered the tortellini pasta with rosee sauce mixed with... mushrooms and meatballs. Portion was big enough to split with 2 people. Also got the Sicilian pizza and it was full of flavorand delicious. To top it off, we got the beignets topped with cinnamon & sugar with a bowl of pastry cream and it was okay,nothing really special. I?m sitting in the restaurant right now and writing this review. It?s a FAB dining option for all tastes. Their menu caters to... many allergies as well. This was my first visit. I?m in YUL for business. I?ll definitely be back next time I?m in town. Iordered the lamb, which is served on a bed of pappardelle. I thought I?d still be hungry, with the size of the typical nice meallike that, so I ordered calamari to start. The app was huge, I ate half. Dinner came and it was surely enough for 2.5 people, soI only ate about half. The other half is coming back to the hotel with me. I didn?t want to eat more on the lamb as I heardtheir crème brûlée was good. It was beyond good. I wanted to order two. Every plate I saw going by was generous. I rarely leave bad reviews but honestly, I don?t even know where to start. From the moment we sat down till we paid, we had a... terrible service! I try to cut some slack because I know everywhere is understaffed but the service we got was worst thanMcDonalds. It took at least a good 20 mins before our bottle of wine was open. I feel like the menu for people who haveallergies is very small compared to the regular menu. We waited for more than 1:30 for the food. After an hour, we?ve mentionedthat 2 tables of at least 5 people that came after us received their appetizers and main course before we got our food, theserver didn?t have a care in the world and didn?t even offer to see what was taking so long. Another 30 mins had went by, wesaid to give us the check because it was unacceptable, that?s when he offered a min a of customer service. Not once he said hewas sorry or nothing. When I paid, since the tip wasn?t to his liking, he threw the receipt on our table and left! This hasnever happened to me in my life! I will never step foot in one of your establishment again! I don?t get the hype. Boxed pasta taste at the price of handmade. Pizzas are alright, nothing special if I?m being... honest. Atmosphere is very cafeteria like, I can see the effort they put into trying to make it comfortable, but it?s done socheaply it?s honestly just sad. Open concept kitchens are difficult to make work. Great experience! Decided to eat out on a Thursday night and we had no problem finding a table. The food was amazing, even my... picky eater enjoyed her Margherita pizza. The Crème brûlée is to die for, one of the best I have tried. Service was awesomeand efficient, didn't have to wait for anything we asked for.
