I have been coming down to Lavallette with my family for 30 years. I have been to Lenny?s countless times throughout my stays.... This past summer my family was treated with the upmost disrespect by one of the hostesses (possibly owner?) who mistakenly heardthe wrong amount of people in our party and upon going to seat us realized this. She reacted with absolute frustration, towardsus, told us to back away and told us we relayed the incorrect information to her. She seemed very stressed about this mistakeand having to seat us elsewhere. Considering the restaurant was empty other than a few other diners, this response and treatmentwas not warranted. Why anyone would think it is okay to treat their patrons this way is beyond me. Safe to say will not bereturning. BTW the waitress-named Riley I believe, was absolutely lovely and attentive. I?m surprised! Normally great and nice portions. We ordered a Caesar salad w chicken that?s ?shareable.? Four slices of... chicken, not even the whole breast. The girl said, ?that?s it; four pieces!? So, two pieces of chicken each. Bigdisappointment. The broccoli rabe side was tiny. I guess this is how it?s going to be, pay more, get less. Big surprise, bigdisappointment. Sorry guys. This place was recommended to my family and I while we were down by Seaside Park, looking for a good restaurant. We were able to... get a table quicker than expected and had good meals. Nice little place that also offers takeout for pizza and such. Read more

Good pizza, nothing above average though. Had their Hawaiian personal pizza and thought the crust was nice and thick. Usually... Hawaiian is ham and pineapple but they used bacon instead and thought to give it a shot, and it definitely was not for me.Nothing wrong with it though. Edit: Visited here in 2020 (was here 2018), and maybe due to covid they got slower. We tried theHawaiian, and Fresca pizza for pickup and they both were delicious and timely for pickup. Then, we had an order for 6 peopleanother day and had to wait about an hour to get our food, of which none was pizza actually. The crispy chicken sub was lackingin flavor and quantity, for the $12 price point it sure was disappointing. Buffalo wings were average, calamari is way toosalty.
