Good food. Great staff. Pineapple juice socks though
This restaurant was awesome! The food was so good and fresh; the fries are to die for! Staff was friendly. We got there when a... larger group had just gotten there, so our service was a little bit slow at first, but once we ordered, it was the best andfastest service we’ve ever gotten. I felt bad about the small rush because it was mid afternoon when there are fewer employeesto help. The service was still good, and the employee who came to serve us was very kind and apologetic. They even comped partof our ticket due to the wait at the beginning. Wonderful meal. Get the onion rings!! Read more
We enjoyed a Sunday evening meal. We had a hamburger & fries meal and a fish & chips meal (pretty sure the fries are hand cut!).... Great food, homemade tartar sauce, great buffalo sauce, awesome servers, and fun atmosphere. One block over from Mass and worththe walk. Read more
My wife and I ate dinner here before going to a KU basketball game. While we were in a bit of a hurry, we certainly enjoyed the... atmosphere and the quick and friendly staff. She got the hot Hawaiian burger and I got the Reuben and we split two orders offries - sweet potato fries and “fire” fries. There were so many fries that we wondered if they gave us baskets of friesinstead of side orders! My wife especially enjoyed her burger, and we loved the local feel of the place. The truffle fries are a must! ????The garlic aïoli sauce is the absolute perfect pairing with them. God they are just too... good!! They’ve got a nice selection of items. Their burgers are what they are known for though. ????They have some prettyunique items! I got the burger with Sriracha ????and peanut butter????. Very odd flavoring but I just had to try it haha. Amazing food and great service!! It was my first time here, and the experience was phenomenal. Place was welcoming with great... music. Our server was quick and friendly and was frequently checking if the foods were good. They were able to adjust our orderper our likings and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again. Love this place! The food was amazing!! Pretzel sticks hot and crispy yet soft inside (with the beer cheese) were so delicious!... Loved the truffle fries, cooked perfectly and wonderful flavor! But my biggest surprise was the chicken sandwich...I didn'tthink I would like red cabbage slaw on my chicken but I decided to give it a try and it was fabulous. The service was on pointand the atmosphere of the Pub was perfect. Even the prices we reasonable for the food. With our son attending KU we willdefinitely be back soon! Read more
Everything was delicious. Funny story-- our order was for carry out, and my son ordered a kids meal with lemonade. The staff... wasn't able to find any kids cups for that, so they filled a two-quart plastic tub (probably some kind of ingredient comes inthis) with lemonade and handed it to him. He thought this was the best thing ever, and he eventually drank the whole thing! Read more
