Very small, intimate restaurant - 24 chairs total. We we're lucky to be seated - reservations are usually required, but they... apparently had a cancellation. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend. We plan togo again, but next time we'll definitely plan ahead. Read more
Great service, great wine, great food.
This was out second time to dine at On the Hill. It was my birthday and we had a total of 8 family members. We told our family... how great our first visit was. Sergio was definitely somewhere else that evening ~ not as friendly and did not come back tocheck on us. Our server was very friendly and tried hard; however, no one liked their food. We had to ask for drinks on threeoccasions; there was no ambiance at all this time. The fettuccini was dry; the osso buco had a different taste to it and eventhe lasagna was not as good as it was the first time. Our bill was around $350. We don't mind spending money for nice diningbut we left feeling as though the whole evening was not very good! When we left, we did see that Coach Bill Self was in theother room so maybe they attended to him instead of us. We are so disappointed, we will probably not go back. Read more

We had a wonderful experience. Visiting from out of state, we wanted something easy after a travel day. We had not anticipated... the meal being a highlight of the trip. On The Hill is now on the itinerary whenever I am in town. The veggie board is not to bemissed. Read more
