11-1-22 Gave it another try, in high hopes it would get better. ordered a five piece tender, got three pieces of fried skins and... two tenders with three? Biscuits?really sucks because I really liked Popeyes where I'm from. this store has been my worstexperience, can't go to this location after this. (Sorry Popeyes this location don't care) Popeyes is not the shizznit in mycase, went through the drive through at about 9:26pm sat there for a few minutes and there was no response. Very disappointed in the drive-through. Got a 2 piece chicken dinner and they gave me a wing and a drumstick. Also asked for... spicy and I got original. I also asked that they put less beans and more rice in my red beans and rice and they did neither.This was the popeye's in Lawrence Kansas off of Iowa street. We got there at 8pm and we're told the only food they had left was mashed potatoes and bone-in chicken. This has happened... before. Last time we placed a pickup order, went to get it and were told they were closed and had no food. From these 2experiences I can logically say not to try here for dinner/late night meals. Love the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Combo but haven't been able to dine in for quite some time at Lawrence. You have to Park and eat... or hurry home before everything gets cold and soggy????. Having a full compliment of the sides they offer is hit and miss;mostly miss?. Read more
Look I love Popeyes chicken and none of this is the employees fault, but we ordered and they were maybe at half staff or less.... They were out of nuggets, and when we asked for strips they said can we wait five minutes that turned into 30. Parts of the menuwere broken and the lobby was closed so we couldn't even go in and ask what was happening. I appreciate how hard everyone wasworking, but management needs to staff up, it must be as hard to work there as it is to eat there. Great chicken and friendlystaff though! Read more
Clearly the chicken is over cooked and dry. My order was not correct and when I went back in to address the issue, the clerk... tried to make it seem as if I was lying. The drive thru order person Clearly didn't speak english and told me he didn'tunderstand what I was trying to order ????????, yet he has the accent. Food is good but they never have any of it to sell. Like, ever. I have been told they have no biscuits, no shrimp, no chicken... sandwich, and just flat out no chicken multiple times. I have never been here and been able to get my entire order. Usually weare lucky to even get half of it. Workers are rude but that's what you expect from Popeyes, I wouldn't care if they actuallyserved food. I would come here probably three times as often as I do if I wasn't worried they were gonna be out of everythingwhen I showed up, which they always are. Also never order online. They won't tell you they are sold out of everything youordered until you show up anyway, and you won't get your money back until you contact their online support because they won'trefund you in store.
