I ordered a chicken sub. The restaurant is 12 min away from my job. It took an hour and a half, arrived luke warm. Order said... delivered so i went outside and called to inquire. They said oh hes on his way 10 min. 15 min go by, i call again. 5 min. 7minutes later, i call back. Im over it, I want a refund, she tells me one second calls the guy, WHO NEVER CALLED ME!!! Shows uppointing at me and keeps saying, “You? You?” I was like um are u from nick’s? Hes like ya. I said that would be my 1.5hour late order. Then the guy is still not out the car that arrived squeaking and broken and clearly an unsafe vehicle o bedelivering food. Worst $20 i ever spent. This place is going downhill fast I had ordered a BLT they forgot to toast bread and to add mayo called they said we'll bring... you a new one when that one came 34m later that sandwich was also filled with burnt bacon it's currently 235pm and I've yet toeat anything at all. Just because I trusted Nick's place to deliver good food. Freaking ridiculous it's not hard to make afreaking BLT. Nick's place DO BETTER!!! Read more

I'm sorry Nick's was a favorite of mine & this will be my last time ordering. The chicken wings any type of chicken really is... always burnt. I can't eat fried foods Wich is why I was so happy to see that they Supposedly had baked wings. The order wasbaked chicken wings with sweet chilli sauce on them & a side of ranch. Not a side of sweet chilly sauce! Y'all need to knowwhat's on the online menu if it says baked chicken wings then bake them don't send me fried burnt chicken wings!! When I calledto ask they told me they make what they see on the order & that I must of made a mistake while placing the order,no I didn't Iread my order numerous times before placing it! it wasn't so much about the sauce it's more about why wasn't it baked like itstates on line??? First visit last week, service and pizza excellent. The family that runs the place is friendly. Second time ordering , crust... seemed dry. The worst part about it is they have the doors open on a 90 degree day. No A/C on. Customers want to be comfortable.Spend the extra money or just close it, you can't be half in business and half out. Nick's brings something different to Lawrence. They have a vast menu from sea food, steak tip plates and anything you can order... from any pizzeria. I cant never get tired of their food. And honestly I don't know how they do it but when I order delivery, Inever expect them to get there so fast. Place is legit. 5 stars. Read more
I cannot post this without giving a star. I give this place NO STARS. I tried this place once and will never go back. The food... was so greasy it was all stuck together and the service was horrible. The one who took the order was the rudest person I everdealt with. Should have hung up when spoken to like that. Don’t know how they are still in business if they treat all theircustomers like that.
