Amazing little diner with plenty of seating, excellent staff and even better food !! Went their for breakfast while visiting... Rising Star casino. Hubs had the amazing french toast ( best he has ever had!) And I had the garden breakfast bowl that camewith sauteed peppers, onions, fried potatoes sliced just right, cheese, mushrooms and 2 scrambled eggs and oh my gosh theirbuttermilk biscuits are to die for ! Definitely going to come back when I'm in town Read more

I don't know why it was never on my radar, but I'm sure glad we googled diners after hiking, cuz this little place is a gem!... Delicious, perfectly prepared home-cooked dinners (open-faced roast beef for me, liver and onions for Hubs). Super service witha smile from Chelsea, and some free entertainment as a couple of guys quickly realized their attempt at the biscuit and gravybowl challenge would fall sorely short of success. We will definitely be back next time we're over this way! Read more

Would have never thought to stop here coming from Kentucky. But the wife and I were coming though Lawrenceburg and decided to... try a local diner... Howies popped up on Google maps so we decided to give it a try.. You could almost miss the place being thatit is attached to the gas station..Chelsea was our server and she took very food care of us. My wife ordered the open face roastbeef and for myself I had the liver and onions.. Both meals were absolutely delicious and cooked just right... A must try forsmall diner fans.. Read more

Don?t believe we would have even noticed the place if it wasn?t for Google. We love to try new places and since we were in the... area and seen some great reviews for here, we thought we?d give it a shot. Was definitely pleasantly surprised! The outside isa little misleading ???? but the food was hot & delicious, great sized portions, and the service was great. Neat little dinerand everyone was very nice. The waitress gave us some recommendations and they did not disappoint. Took home left overs becauseof the portion sizes which was wonderful. We?ll definitely have to stop here again especially for the Goetta bites! Read more

One of the best breakfast skillets I have had. Eggs, made perfectly. Food, piping hot. Potatoes, onions, peppers cooked to... perfection. Looks like a questionable place when you pull into the parking lot, but once inside the locals sitting at thecounter, news on the television make the atmosphere quite appealing to an out of stater just passing through. This place looks like a run down gas station on the outside, but don't let that put you off. Inside is a rather cozy diner with... great food. They have typical diner food with a few unique menu items. One thing is the Goetta that seems to be a unique foodto Cincinnati. We had an order of the Goetta bites and they are tasty. I had the Mega Omelet and that was a solid choice fullof the typical breakfast stuff. We also had the Big Bopper which is this massive tenderloin mixed with eggs, biscuits andgravy. I've never seen something like that for breakfast. We also met the owner and it sounds like he really cares aboutrunning a great business, and it shows. The service and food are all solid here. Definitely worth checking out! Read more
