I'll start by saying that Sakura is my favorite restaurant in my home town. But yesterday was a big disappointment The chef... was boring and seemed he was in a rush. His show was pathetic, I think I could have set an onion on fire and hold a littleplastic toy! Then he mixed the mushrooms and onions together before distributing them and my wife hates mushrooms! They havealways offered them to us separately. And when it came to the zucchini, he chucked them on my plate at the same time he asked"Zucchini?" and I said 'NO', but it was too late, they were on my plate. I'll be back, but won't accept him as my chef! Therest of the staff were great and the food tasted ok, but not as good as I remember, maybe left a bad taste in my mouth! Read more

Always a nice time, but the chef gave us a very short show compared to past experiences. We were there for my son's birthday. We... had the Poppy Special and fried rice, which is always good. If you are looking for a pricier option for an occasion but don'twant to break the bank, I would definitely recommend Sakura's. Read more

Food was ok at best, service mediocre, far over priced for the experience, with tips the bill was nearly $300 for a family of... 5... you'd probably be happier just going to McDonald's Read more

The service was great start to finish, from the hostess to the bartender, to the server, to the chef. Went for hibachi and the... show it offers. Was not disappointed. The food was excellent, the price was comparable to other Japanese steak houses. Theatmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The steak and scallops had my taste buds doing flips, complimented with some plum wine. The wait time was short, and we were able to sit at the bar while we waited. They do take reservations, but not required. Willdefinitely revisit. Read more

We'd been before and had a much better experience but this was rough. We had reservations and they sat us at a table with too... few seats. When we asked where the rest of our party was to sit they claimed we had been told they MIGHT be able to accommodateour party. Not sure why they took a reservation if they couldn't accommodate. They finally moved us and split our party between2 tables. Wouldn't have been an issue if we still could have eaten together but half of our party was nearly done eating beforethe other half got their food. On top of the poor service the food was only mediocre and definitely not worth the $100+ pricetag for my husband and I. Although I guess it was good enough to keep me from giving a 1 star review.
