Shift leader David and assistant manager a complete joke. Behind the counter talking on FaceTime with people while customers are... trying to order ice cream. David proceeded to threaten to call the cops and puff up like he was going to do something to mymother. Tried to call the store at 8:45 pm on Thurs. to make sure it was open because I needed fuel! I never knew this store to ever... close for weather before because no one answered the phone so I took my business down the road. This place is unreliable!Alwaysclosing early and never fresh coffee. Last time I was at this store I had multiple problems with the guy that was scooping ice cream. He was just very disrespectful.... I told him my order and he made it wrong so I kindly asked him to fix it, and that caused a whole situation between himdisrespecting me and the other customers after me. We go here frequently and find extremely rude inconsiderate staff. We are a congenial friendly couple. We wait patiently and... witness one asian slowly tending and spinning a malt machine while wiping her face bear the product. And the other curly heavyset gal, who always has a nasty frone and bad attitude plus willing to share her problems. She asks the manager what to donext..while a line of customers are waiting to be served. And the mgr. replies, put lids on the ice cream. So the line ofcustomers stands there and watches her place tall stacks of lids while her long strands of curly hair graise the lids. Wewalked out! I used to work here until I was terminated over selling nicotine to a 17 year old who was working with the cops. Yeah that's my... bad I know. All the people who keep complaining always repeatedly came in over and over again for ice cream, and then tocomplain about how the car wash was broken like the employees are master technicians that fix it. That or the air compressorwhich isn't even owned by UDF. The reviews here are scalding lies half the time because people want free stuff. Can't rememberhow many times someone took a shake outside with them, drove home, didn't drink any of it on the way there, and then called tocomplain how their shake was melted and wrongly made. Main management is one of the hardest working ladies I've ever had as aboss and wouldn't hesitate to come in whenever I called her. I really feel for her, and it's good to have her as a friendstill. The problems can stem from several lower level employees. However there is always that someone who comes in upset thatthe gas pump isn't working, wants immediate service, and so they throw a fit to get the attention of an employee who already hastheir hands full. To just ultimately flip out on them like they're the ones that engineered the fuel pumps, sacrificed theirfirst born to the almighty Petrol God, and raised the graveyards of dinosaurs for their sultry black gold go juice to siftthrough those pumps into a car who's driver could have just went somewhere else that wasn't packed (or had an Ice Cream storeattached to it) for faster service. It's called "United DAIRY Farmers" and not "United Petroleum Refiners" for a reason. IceCream and dairy comes first; get over it. I really liked this job, I made one simple mistake and even told on myself when ithappened after 9 months of continuous service with 6 days a week for a little while with only missing 4 days of that. This was an amazing place. Stopped at 3am on our way home from vacation. Had great service and the best Ice cream. The service... was fast, polite and very helpful. I live hours away and would definitely drive back just for the ice cream. Can't beat 24/7 icecream plus a gas station. Thank you for helping us on our way home!!!! Read more
The staff is extremely rude. They acted like the elderly gentlemen whose card wouldn't work was doing something wrong instead of... trying to help him. When I tried to use the same pump it didn't work and shut down my card due to fraud protection. I told theemployees inside that they need to fix the pump and put a bag on it before someone else tries to use it. After I moved to adifferent pump and have to use a different card they still hadn't put a bag on the pump. When I went back in to tell them to dosomething about the pump and asked for a manager I was told the manager was on vacation. They threatened to call the cops on mewhen I told them they needed to do their job since all 3 employees were talking to each other instead of bagging the pump, andwhen I asked for the main mouthy one's name I was told it was none of my business!
