Seemed like a friendly atmosphere. After waiting a while for our menus we were informed that several items, two of which we... wanted to get, were not being served or they did not have. That's understandable. Service took a really long time and, while Ilove animals, I was a little uncomfortable with the dog walking in and out of the kitchen. We had a late lunch on Wednesday and our waitress was excellent. She even called around to get us a location to purchase Barton... Chocolate Bourbon Ball. Guess what? We went there today and got 6 bottles! I did not get her name but she was outstanding! Wereally enjoyed our visit to your location. Laurenceburg, you have a gold mine here. Great place and the staff is very friendly! It is in a transition period, but things are looking really good. I have an almost 2... year old and they are working on a child's area where my little one was able to watch cartoons from the table. I can't think of a restaurant where I have ever had such bad service and am truly surprised there are not more negative 1-2 star... reviews. I would suggest avoiding this place like the plague. I doubt if the restaurant side of it will be around muchlonger. We attempted to have dinner at this place recently but after an hour of waiting we finally got up and walked out. Weknew this place was recently opened under new management and our expectations were not high as would be expected since it doestake a bit of time to get up to speed in a new restaurant. However we did want to try it and give it a chance. Slow service isone thing but this was way beyond that. With that said, our order included a brisket dinner and two KY hot brown platters.Server came back shortly and said they were out of brisket. (This was at 5 PM on a Saturday). So I re-ordered. Then about 5minutes later server came back and said they could not do the KY hot browns because they did not have the sauce prepared. Soagain another reorder. Two of us had ordered iced teas to begin with and it was 15-20 minutes before the server brought themout. The server never came over to check on refills or to explain why the food was taking so long. The place seemed to haveenough server staff but they were ignoring the restaurant side in favor of the bar side of the place or were just not interestedin servicing the 5 occupied tables. There was a foursome who had come into the restaurant about 10 minutes before we did andthey were also receiving the same poor service. Another couple came in after us and left after about 15 minutes without a serverever acknowledging that they had come in. I can't really speak to the quality of the food except we overheard a customer atanother table (who actually did receive an ordered appetizer) inform the server that some item on the appetizer platter wasundercooked. I have never experienced service this bad. It took them 20 minutes to even ask us what our drinks were after we asked them to... take our order. We placed our order and it took 30 minutes before she came back out and said they were out of wings. Sheshould?ve known that 5 minutes after placing the order. Then took another 10-15 for the food to even come to the table forburgers that should?ve taken 15 minutes. Then we had to ask for the check or we would have never received it. Read more
The perfect post-distillery stop for lunch. We got a burger with onion rings, a pulled pork sandwich and the loaded tots. Every... single thing was delicious! Had the opportunity to eat at the bar for a slow lunch. The owner is a transplant from Massachusetts, but you?d never be able to... tell that! The food was fantastic! Everything was sourced locally and you could tell the freshness and quality in the taste ofthe food. It?s a newer restaurant that is definitely getting a it?s feet underneath itself after taking over an older biker bar.keep that in mind if things take longer if they are swamped as no restaurant that has only been open/operating for under threemonths has all kinks sorted out.
