While visiting my sister she treated me to an amazing meal. I ordered the hamburger steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes...... everything was seasoned amazingly good. My sister ordered us the mushrooms appetizer with a side of their signature sauce... itwas so good. She also ordered a salad and it was so large we ended up splitting it. So delicious... I highly recommend thisrestaurant... the staff and our server Alisha was amazing. Hope I spelled her name correctly. She was so sweet.. next time I'min town I will definitely be back in. Read more
My husband and I have tried this place twice. The food is just okay. The service was great both times. I just don't think we... will try it again though. The food is always over cooked and worth the price. Read more
Friendly service but the food wasn't great. My wife's chicken was dried out and extremely difficult to chew. We didn't ask for a... replacement as it was so busy and took forever the 1st time around. She ended up taking it home and feeding it to the dog. MySurf & Turf Tacos were okay but I was disappointed at the laughable size of salsa they gave me. If you dip 4 or 5 chips you'redone so I ordered a side of queso so I could use my chips for something other than garnish. We did enjoy the live entertainment.It was the best part of night. Just a suggestion: With the price you're asking for meals don't skimp on the salsa and don'tovercook the chicken. Especially for carry out. Read more
Nice place we happened on. Waiter was super, food tasted great, & nice friendly atmosphere. Family friendly, separate bar, place... for live band, & outdoor seating. Hubby had the double bacon & cheese sandwich with baked potato, & tea. I had a blt, fries, &water w/lemon. Total was $23.51. Plenty of parking, it's in a small strip mall. They have takeout orders too. Will definitely beback. P/s, people don't mention restaurant bathrooms in reviews, but Stetar's was exceptionally clean & pretty. Twas pleasant. Got there a little late so the "quiet side" (dining area) was closed. By quiet side, what I mean is that your not... stuck in the bar sitting on speakers (not literally) listening to whomever they have hired at the time playing guitar andwhaling on the microphone (I love local talent; again, no complaints) at a volume that's just a little too high for thatsort/small of space (I do it at home, hehe). The atmosphere was good, I could tell that they'd been busy, but to no avail...Upon being seated (it's a bar with food at this point, just seat yourself), a server promptly showed up with a smile on (Ipresume "his" face... Gender stuff, ya know) ready to accommodate orders for the 4 person high top table with 2 people lodgedin one side. Got drinks, drank drinks! I saw familiar faces that I hadn't seen in years. Saw family too (weird). Orderedappetizers and a light meal to split (went healthy, mostly fried ????). Fried mushrooms were delivered in an unexpectedpresentation that was actually quite delightful. I have never been to a restaurant and the ordered fried mushrooms where theydid not come out as whole. The only time I've had that experience is when I cook them myself. That being said, there was abasket of chipped fried mushrooms with a wonderful flavor served with wonderful sauces that were apparently very healthy (lol)that were enjoyed by everybody at the table. More than the two of us. Also ordered a basket of cheese curds as an appetizer,they were amazing. I've eaten cheese curds before and enjoyed them, but I've never eaten deep fried cheese curds. One word,amazing (and still healthy, lies) The right sauces were also served with the cheese curds. Had nachos with salsa, the nachoswere cooked in house and were pretty decent (not quite as light and flaky as I prefer, but good none the less, better than thelocal Mexican joints). First time at Stetars. Had the Aloha chicken and fries. Everything was good and portion size was great. Staff was very nice and... attentive. Had a live band playing tonight that was pretty good. Overall great experience and I'll go back. Read more
Really enjoyed the food here and atmosphere. We had the smothered grilled chicken, loaded baked potato, cheesy grits, Mac &... Cheese, and onion rings, all delicious. Real comfort food. ???????? Read more
