I've had a go to place for donairs and pizza for over 30 years. This past summer decided to give El Centro a try and can... honestly say their food is delicious, even better than my go to place, which I thought was the best. Donairs,pizza, fish andchips, everything !! And portions are generous. Just wish I lived closer as I am in downtown Hfx. But today, will be in area,and will definitely be stopping in. So many choices, wish I could order it all. Lol Read more
I had been bragging to my wife about the great Shawarma wrap I had gotten on a trip by El Centro a year or so ago. She had never... had one before so she decided to pick up a couple of wraps for Friday night supper. The wraps turned out to be quitedisappointing as they were nothing like what I had before. Basically a french fry sandwich with a couple of pickles and a littlegarlic sauce. But little did I know there are two kinds of Shawarma, we had just ordered incorrectly. They are handy and they make good food, why go to town? The menu has a lot of options. The donair egg rolls are the best I've... ever had. The pizza is always delicious and full of toppings. Fish and chips on point. Shawarma on point. Just do it! Theylost a star for not answering the phone on busy night...I know it was busy... but that was annoying. Read more
