After church for hangout with friends so the food is good.

My business is very close by to El Real and I eat here nearly everyday. This place never lets me down. I?ve never had a bad... experience over 100?s of vists, actually probably well over 1,000. As a business owner, that says a lot. Service, food, thepeople, everything is always great. Any review of El Real lower than 5 stars is hard to believe. I just can?t see these greatpeople not making your dining experience there not 100%. We have even grown close and made good friendships. Edith, Karina,Raul, Omar, Gabby just to name a few. extremely Poor service. Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Got the entire receipt incorrect, by charging things that weren?t... purchased. on top of getting the receipt cost incorrect, the server had the audacity to have an attitude and act hostile andaggressive when asked to fix the receipt. The manager and the lady upfront began to get involved and continued to give us are-printed receipt that was still incorrect. They charge for sour cream, as well as salsa, things that are typically given forfree. Not to mention the food is given cold and hard. Aside from the horrible service, and horrible food, the location is nice.I will never be back though. though the tacos were cheap on taco Tuesday, I will never be back. save your money!!!!!! Me and a group of 3 or 4 others come regularly every Wednesday for trivia. we reserve a table a few hours prior as we have a... person in a wheelchair. As of yesterday their policy changed, now stating that 70% of your party must be there before you canbe seated. I'm hoping this reaches the owner as I see he/she has responded to other reviews. I could not get anybody to make anysense to me why I had to stand there or sit at the booth that was right near the entrance while she got me a glass of ice waterwaiting for more of my people to come, sitting looking at the table that we were going to sit at, all ready to go. I do notunderstand this new policy. The sun is beating in the lobby and it was hot so I sat in the booth right near the front door. Whenit might be cold and raining I would like to be able to get settled in my seat when I arrive. I would like to understand whythis new policy is necessary because it's very frustrating. We do not all come together, some come in later some come in early.If someone could please explain this &/or stop this ridiculous policy it would be greatly appreciated. we come here to havefun, which we always do. we love the trivia and the announcer who does it and the food is great but this new policy just needsto go. Would hate to have to go someplace else to play trivia as this is a great location for us all. Oh and FYI as I sat andwaited for another person from my party to arrive my wheelchair person arrived and then she let us go sit at the table that wehad reserved ???? that was not 70% of the party, we had five or six people coming. I truly felt harassed and I don't know why.???? I will gladly change my star rating from 3 to 5 if they remove this policy and help make people feel comfortable andwelcome upon arrival & reserving tables by phone. TY Read more

Food is always amazing but service is either perfect with servers being extremely attentive or horrible with servers standing... around. After trying to flag him down 3 times I saw him sit down at another table and watch the Braves game. A very sweetwaitress ended up helping us. Read more

I took my wife to El Real Mexican Grill Restaurant, in Lawrenceville Georgia on June 10th, to celebrate her birthday. I am... beyond elated to report that we absolutely had a marvelous experience. Ms. Rosy, the manager, and her entire staff wasexceptional, very courteous, pleasant and professional. The establishment was not only beautiful, inviting and stunning, thefood was hot, fresh and very tasty as well. My wife was extremely happy that I chose to take her there for such a special day.El Real Mexican Grill Restaurant manager made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped in. The crew sang happy birthday for mywife, she and I truly appreciated it. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone who's taste bud is as distinguished as mine andto anyone who treasures great and excellent cuisine without having to break the bank.
