Got the fish and chicken combo, both chicken and fish had absolutely no seasoning just a sprinkle of lemon pepper on one side... of the chicken and none on the other, fish bland and tastless yuk, fries full of grease and limp but all of the food wasdefinitely hot and I did get the garlic knots which were amazing. Some friends and I stopped by this location after we finished an adult special needs softball game at Bethesda Park, in which... this location was 1.4 miles from the park. There was a total of 6 of us, for the other 20 refused to go to this location, sothey all went for Chinese food. The orders were heavily delayed and seemingly this location was not busy at all, busy it tookall of us forever to get the food. I ordered fish and shrimp tacos and the seafood (fish and shrimp) were spoiled. I took thefish dish back to the counter and later complained about the shrimp tacos and the female at the front cashier was veryinconsiderate and unconcerned and sarcastically nice nasty about my complaint, in which she told me that the fish wastilapia?nevertheless, the fish and shrimp were spoiled and I can?t get that nasty taste out of my mouth. Later, anothergentleman came in and I shared the concern with him and he was just as unconcerned and basically said he didn?t know what wewanted him to do. One of the fathers at the table stated that he fairly knew the owner of Italian Pie and gave me his name andwe attempted to google the contact number online. I stepped outside and called the number and surprisingly and unfortunately thecall went to this Lawrenceville location that I was at. I then called the Buford location, but the gentleman that answered thephone stated that Lucci had just stepped out and would be back within the hour and would return my call, in which this wasaround 1:30 pm and the time is now 6:00 pm and I still have not received the call. When I came back in the location thegentleman walked up and told us that they had texted and called the owner and he responded back to them for them to refund ourmoney or make a different dish. The ONLY reason that they text the owner, because they know that I was trying to reach him.Realistically speaking, it wasn?t about the refund, it was about customer service, atmosphere/environment and quality. I?m from up north where the pizza is notoriously excellent and this is even better than what I get back at home. The pizza is... always perfect. It blows my mind. The fact that Italian Pie sells slices is super clutch too. Best pizza joint around. Read more
We ordered the Rustica, Garlic Knots and a Philly Cheesesteak. Everything was quite tasty. The alfredo sauce on the pizza... balanced well with the sharper notes of the pepperoni and sausage. The garlic knots were possibly my favorite garlic knots I'veever had. They were exactly what I want when I want Garlic Knots. Good atmosphere, not too busy when we went (but it isWednesday, lol). I don?t think I have ever tasted chicken Alfredo this good in my life. The sauce is just right and the serving is big enough for... two people. It comes with a side salad and bread. All for under $12.00. I ordered the jerk wings for my son and he said theywere good too. Food is made to order so prepare to wait for your order unless you ordered ahead.
