Realizing since moving from the Philadelphia area 15 years ago, that getting a real Philadelphia cheesesteak is not going to... happen, I found Philly connection and OK with it now. I used to go to the one on Lawrenceville Suwanee Road and really liked itthere and the owners, but they closed. Fortunately, we found another one. It's just much further from home. They are friendlyhere, just not the same as the other location, because the owner watched my son basically grow up. This location always servesup hot, fresh, and delicious cheesesteaks with a smile. The only real downside is having to drive so much further. I've seenreviews that people have posted that the steak is chopped up so small it looks like dog food... I would not say that's notaccurate description at all, but if you knew what a real Philadelphia cheesesteak was, you would know that it's chopped up veryfine so that it is not chewy. Read more

I lived in Philly a long time and love my cheesesteaks. Since moving to the Atlanta area this is my favorite spot to go if I... want a taste of home. Not the best cheesesteak I've ever had but they could do business in Philly with their sandwiches. My goto is the Mushroom cheesesteak on their board - mushrooms, fried onions and American cheese. Onion rings were good too. Servicewas excellent. Read more

It was horrible. The philly steak meat was like ground up meat. Lettuce was beginning to turn brown.. tomatoes were slapped on... top. Will not be returning. Read more

08/1/22 Philly Connection PROS: 1. No matter which Cheesesteak I?ve ordered, it?s perfectly seasoned, and simply melts in your... mouth. Hand crafted with mouth watering decent amounts of savory juicy meaty goodness. 2. The store owner works the grill, eachorder is made to order (in front of you), to your liking. It?s absolutely important that you voice your preferences otherwiseyou?ll be disappointed. 3. The largest cheesesteak can easily feed two people, and/or become leftovers for another day. 4. Aslong as it?s properly stored, cheesesteaks holdup incredibly well when reheating in microwave. Bread remains soft and steakjuicy several days later. Which is super important for me as I love to pack my lunch for work. CONS: 1. Wish owners would gethigher quality tear resistant material to wrap up cheesesteaks. By design, these insulated sheets are supposed to lock in heat, and be able to absorb any moisture and prevent leakage. Last few visits I noticed the foiled paper wrapper absorbedcondensation, wrapper became sticky, easily tearing apart making quite a mess. 2. A bit pricier than ever before, but whatisn?t nowadays post Covid-19. Overall... I Cannot recommend enough! Read more

Nice place and workers, however the steak tastes like steakums from the supermarket. 5 stars if that's what you like, however... there are wayyyyy better tasting options around the county. Some that use Real steak & real steak mixtures whether frozen orfresh. The reason they received 3 stars is if you like chicken Phillysteak s. I had "the works" and It was very good! The otherreason they received 3 stars was due to the price. It is comparable to the size you choose (there are 3 options) to purchase, rather than $12-20 for whatever Philly you order at other establishments. Read more

Average level Philly. Low rating because the dining room has TVs blaring 24 hour news. The drive through speaker is so loud... everyone in the restaurant can take the order. So instead of a nice dining experience, you get to listen to speaker static andTV pundits criticize people. Read more

Full Warning!!! This is not steak. It taste and look like ground beef aka a long sloppy joe sandwich. Not good at all. After I... snapped a picture I threw it all in the trash. Also the onion rings are over cooked and old grease. 1 star for good customerservice but the food is horrible Read more
