Place is slightly rough around the edges (not the nicest dining room to sit in, tables had peeling paint, etc), but the food is... solid. We got the loaded fries as an appetizer, and I'd highly recommend them. They are really generous with the topping andeven have sliced-up dogs on top. Really good! The taco-inspired dog is great. Ive been here a few times; the first time I got the Factory Loaded Fries and they were delicious. The second time I got the... "Jamaican Jerk chicken dog" and it was phenomenal. The sauce on it is the perfect mixture of sweet heat and the pineapples are agreat touch. The people are very personable and happy. They have a dog for everyone, I promise. Ok this is a hot spot for All American fare that serves up customer service that's just a good as the food! I thought I was in a... rush but once I walked I decided to set a spell! Seen pictured is the Carolina Slaw Dog! However keep in mind there's enoughtasty choices to pick for every day of the month if you like variety! I went with my Dad and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty everything was! I got the Hawaiian dog and my Dad got the Chicago... dog, both were delicious! Kind of messy, but I feel like that is kind of the point of loaded dogs! The fries were delicioustoo. I feel like in these times you have to find patience and have some understanding with staff. They are a new establishmentand finding/ training employees right now is tough. Yes, it was a bit slow but they were kind and the food was great. Will behappy to try more things on the menu! There is no question in my mind that the Original Hotdog Factory is shockingly good food even before you take into account the... shockingly reasonable price. It feels almost unfair that it's named the "hotdog factory," because given the diversity of menuoptions, we're not talking about a place that only has a singular flavor to provide. You want Jamaican jerk chicken? You want aChicago dog? You want fine chili? You want Italian sausage? You want a Hawaiian with grilled pineapple? That's just scratchingthe surface. It's all good, it's all hot, it's all served with a smile. If you haven't been to the Original Hotdog Factory, takethe time to do so. It's probably on the way to wherever you're going.
