On a date with my husband, we needed a place for lunch. We?d finished at the zoo, and Tipsy Pig had high reviews - even with... being inside a gas station. We gave it a shot, and we WILL be returning! The staff is super warm and friendly, and they openlyexpress their gratitude for your patronage, but with a feeling like family. Their fryer was down, and they were out of bananapudding and peach cobbler, but as popular as other reviews make them out to be, it didn?t really surprise us, and there was alarge enough menu with options that we could choose from. Got my emissions done next door and asked the guy about the Tipsy Pig BBQ and he said I had to try it. I ordered the whole... chicken, side of mac & cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. Pretty good pressed sandwiches. I ordered the Pressed Brisket and Redneck Cuban. The Cuban was delicious. But, they served it... with a ?mojo sauce? that although is nice and sour, it did not go well imho with sandwich. Mojo is traditionally used as amarinade, btw. The brisket sandwich had a side of the sweet heat sauce which was flavorful but definitely no heat. Thehorseradish mayonnaise on the sandwich was lacking horseradish. All I really tasted was hot Mayo which is quite unpleasant. Madethe bread guts soggy. Despite my rambles, I want to give them a try, again.
