On a date with my husband, we needed a place for lunch. We?d finished at the zoo, and Tipsy Pig had high reviews - even with... being inside a gas station. We gave it a shot, and we WILL be returning! The staff is super warm and friendly, and they openlyexpress their gratitude for your patronage, but with a feeling like family. Their fryer was down, and they were out of bananapudding and peach cobbler, but as popular as other reviews make them out to be, it didn?t really surprise us, and there was alarge enough menu with options that we could choose from. Pork sandwich for me, brisket for my husband, a few sides, blackberrycobbler and sweet tea - mmm-mmm! But it?s in a gas station! Okay, so? Make the stop at the Exxon on Five Forks and Oak to havesome Tipsy Pig BBQ. You won?t regret it! Read more

Pretty good pressed sandwiches. I ordered the Pressed Brisket and Redneck Cuban. The Cuban was delicious. But, they served it... with a ?mojo sauce? that although is nice and sour, it did not go well imho with sandwich. Mojo is traditionally used as amarinade, btw. The brisket sandwich had a side of the sweet heat sauce which was flavorful but definitely no heat. Thehorseradish mayonnaise on the sandwich was lacking horseradish. All I really tasted was hot Mayo which is quite unpleasant. Madethe bread guts soggy. Despite my rambles, I want to give them a try, again. Oh, I forgot about the collard greens.. ate em butforgot about them. Needs salt! Read more

This was some of the best barbecue I've ever had. The ribs were so tender and flavorful. The brisket had a beautiful smoke ring... and was delicious. We tried every side they offered and they were all great. The cobblers were very tasty. The staff was veryfriendly and genuine. 100% recommend coming here as soon as you can. Read more

THIS IS HOW YOU ORDER AND PAY. First, yes it?s in the Exxon gas station. Go into the store like you were going to pay for gas... but go left to the restaurant portion on the store. The menu is taped down to the counter. After you give your order to theperson at the counter, they will give you a handwritten ticket. Take that ticket to the station cashier on the other side of thestore by the cigarettes and give it to them and pay (card or cash). The cashier will staple a printed receipt to the handwrittenone. Take it back to the food counter and hand it back to the person taking orders. There are tables for dining in. Wait untilyour order is called and take your food. Whew, now that?s done. The pulled pork and potato salad were delicious. The workerswere very friendly and worked quickly. Read more

I love BBQ and this was close to the house. It is in a gas station but don't let that fool you. The ribs and the brisket were... tender and moist. The beans and potato salad were flavorful. The food was excellent. Definitely will return, I love good Q! And it has been rated Best in Gwinnett for several years! Read more
