It is very spicy as authentic Sichuan hot pot the food tastes really good...the only complaint would be I wish the size of the... order of items could be a little bit more for the price...it kinda is on the high end side but overall I like this place Read more

This place was incredible. We got a 2 part hot pot, pork and mushroom stocks, and meat and vegetable platters. It was delicious... and filling and we even got to bring the stock home when we were finished. We had no idea what we were doing, and the serverwas so nice. Walked us through it all, from how to order, to the sauces and everything. And then we finished, and it was $48.For our entire table. We were expecting at least double that, probably triple, for the quality. Absolutely incredible, definitely going back again when we have a chance. Read more

The experience was nice, the food was pretty good but I just can't say for the price value & quantity of food you get didn't... equal out evenly. Also I will say, that I like hot & spicy foods but if you have someone who doesn't like it don't do the HOTbroth even the mild was extremely HOT! Unfortunately to the point where you couldn't enjoy the rest of your meal due to burningyour taste buds on that one broth! So my advice would be to do the not HOT broth, and and to your spice. I did that and it was amuch more enjoyable meal. Luckily I hadn't put all my meal (noodles, meat, herbs and vegetables) in the HOT broth right awaywithout testing it, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it. Read more

We came here for a stop during a trip to Cape May. The restaurant was clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly. The... soup base is on the mild side compared to other places. The shrimp paste and the four traditional hotpot joshes set are musttry. We spent ~$100/person here. Read more

This was my first time eating at a Chinese hot pot restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious. As I came by myself the waitress... suggested the chili bowl might be the best choice. I?m anxious to go again and do the hot pot where everyone shares in cookingthe food at the table in the hot broths. But for one person the chili bowl was a lot easier, and more than enough food. Therewere a choice of three protein-like items, and then an additional choice of three vegetables. The food came almost immediately. It?s called a chili bowl because the ingredients are swathed in a bowl full of hot chilies and delicious sauce. I highlyrecommend a trip to Liuyishou, the food is fresh, delicious and very healthy. The wait staff are friendly and were perfectlywilling to explain everything and answer all my questions. The clientele is primarily Asian, but I am not, and I feltcomfortable there, and left very satisfied. I plan to come again and order the hot pot with a friend. Read more
