Moe and John were extremely pleasant. Being out first time, they let us try all of the sauces and treated our kids to chocolate... chip cookies. The food was just as I remember it from the city, except the portion of it is greater in the original spot. Generous portioning... of rice is important in order to match the price on the menu. The guys on the team seemed to be on a scramble with the orders.The mobile orders were not being prepared in sync with the in store orders as they should be. The customers were waiting longerthan expected for their Mobile orders. Their order tickets kept on piling up on the side as the server kept on helping with thein store orders. There were enough employees in store to designate someone to fulfill mobile orders. Please huddle up as a teamand solve this issue. The Ice Tea and Lemonades are a great addition. However, there were no toppings or ice in the drink.Therefore they looked nothing like the picture on the banner. Please correct! I know this is your second Friday atLawrenceville. So delicious! I am so thankful that I don't need to drive up to East Brunswick for this anymore! The beef gyro platters are, as... always, delicious. I love to get an extra pita with it and eat it like a taco ???? I wasn't a huge fan of the limited zestylamb, it was a little dry and not as good as the previous limited spicy lamb. I could go on about the platter as a wholethough: beef gyro meat: tender, juicy, flavorful; lettuce and tomato: crisp and fresh; rice: so addictively tasty; white and hotsauce: utter perfection. Besides the food, this place was definitely swamped for the grand opening, but the team was handlingthe crowd very efficiently and quickly. The line was literally out the door but it moved quickly. The wait is finally over!!!! The line was out the door but surprisingly moved very quickly. We ordered two combo chicken-gyro... platters and a gyro and for drinks we tried their Creamy Mango drink made with oat milk and the Mint Lemonade. What I loved washow fast they had our order ready. The chicken was flavorful and tender and the gyro was moist and we drenched our platters intheir white sauce. I only added 9 drops of the hot sauce and made sure they were evenly spaced, lol. The end result was pureheaven. It brought back memories of the cart in NY when we first became addicted to Halal Guys. So the most important thing tome even more than the food is cleanliness. With the line constantly out the door I dreaded the trip to the bathroom. At 6:30 pm,I didn?t know what to expect. Much to my surprise, given the crowded store, it looked impeccable and smelled clean. It wascomforting to know that they paid attention to all the details. The huge number of employees at the store front was probably howthey are able to stay on top of everything. I rate them 5/5 for speed of order, cleanliness, and service with a smile. Read more
