My husband and I ate there yesterday night. The staff were friendly. I got the 2 meat dinner and my husband got the 3 meat... dinner. The chicken was dry and the food was cold, nowhere near hot nor warm. It got pulled out of a warmer in saran wrap and itlooked like it was hot/warm, but it was neither. Our family enjoyed the tasty food. The seating are was tidy and organized. The staff was friendly.
I would first like to start by saying that the brisket is my favorite. I prefer mine chopped instead of sliced. Mac and cheese... was phenomenal. Me and my family decided to go here for lunch and one of my kinfolks ordered a baked potato and let me tell youthat s*** looked and smelled delicious. I would have got a picture but I was too busy eating my brisket and enjoyingconversation with my family. I believe my brother-in-law got some ribs and man let me tell you it was looking good nice thickmeat on the bone came off very easily tender meat good. Oh and they're sweet tea trust me when I tell you was sweet. Itdefinitely hit the spot here in Lawton we only have a few barbecue places from what I'm aware of and Billy Sims is definitelynumber one to me. So if you're ever around the Southwest area stop by here and order up because it's definitely worth it andthe prices are reasonable. WTH?? Does anyone know what Texas toast is? It's definitely not the BREAD we got, it's TOASTED. I understand the meat is done by... weight, but this is pitiful for the price and we got 8 BBQ sauce for it. Why? We clearly don't need that much. You gave us morepepper, pickle, onion mix than necessary as well. Were you trying to compensate for the meat? I'm not impressed at all. Read more
