I had the catfish & grits - 5 stars and my GF had the catfish & shrimp - 5 stars. For sides I ordered yams - 5 stars & cabbage... - 3 stars (way too seasoned & very salty). My GF got the greens & they were on point! She said the fries & the corn were par atbest & probably could've been left out as she was happy with just the fish, shrimp, & greens. The portion sizes were huge sounfortunately we didn't have room for all the fresh desserts that were being made - they looked great! I just moved to town and had an extremely strong urge for cake, I would... usually have gone to Johnstons but they closed years ago, I knew I didn?t want Walmart or sams, it just isn?t the same. I... called, from Nashville, and spoke with Veronica, asking if she could put together some sort of tray for my Soldier Son'sbirthday surprise delivery, to be picked up by a friend. Due to a fast-arriving snow storm, I had to rush and do evereything oneday ahead of schedule. Veronica was a GEM and a TREASURE! She handled my panicked call with poise and professionalism and had abeautiful pick-up order ready in a flash! Although I called during a busy time, she treated me like I was her ONLY customer!She was such a kind and helpful person! She put together a platter of goodies that any Mom would be proud to serve, in herabsence! She even texted me a picture of what he was getting!!!
