First time here and it was a great. Nice spacious dinning area. Staff was prompt and kept our water refilled. Wife and I both... ordered the spicy basil chicken (we substitute ground pork) and it was really delicious, sweet and hint of a kick. Wife enjoysits spicier than I do so I recommend 2-3 for anyone who doesn’t like it too spicy. Read more
This place was so delicious! My new favorite restaurant in Lawton. The chicken in all the dishes was perfect, no fatty pieces.... The flavor in the food was something i never tasted before! 10/10 recommend. Serve was so friendly and everything sherecommended on the menu was great. Food was absolutely delicious!! Must try any of their dishes. I am a big fan of Yellow Thai curries and this place makes such a... great one. Their pork dumplings were crispy and flavorful. The service started slowing down once more people began to come infor lunch, but for food like this I can wait a couple extra minutes. Regardless, if I was going to be here in Lawton for a bitlonger I would love to explore more of their menu. This place is 100% recommended! Read more
Thailand, Land of a thousand smiles, but NOT at Thai Bistro in Lawton. Great food (4.5 stars) - horrible service (2 stars) The... drunken noodles were delicious and so was the chicken satay. The service was completely lacking, no smiles from our waitress -the appetizer was brought out well into the main course. Water refills never happened, nor did the waitress check up on ourparty. When we went up to pay, we noticed the waitress sitting in a booth, folding napkins and arranging silverware, instead ofattending to customers. If the waitress would be more attentive, she would earn much better tips. Read more
I wasn't impress with this place, not sure if I caught them on an off-day or it's just the best Lawton has to offer. The summer... rolls had a single piece of shrimp.. cut in half, and next level stuffed with lettuce. I expected at least a full piece ofshrimp in each. The basil duck was ordered at spiciest option available, yet I had no heat. Tasted super sweet. The duck itselfwas cooked the same way you'd do spam slices. Service was beyond slow. I never got a water refill or waitress asking if I neededanything else. Not once. If this is typical for em, I don't recommend. Read more
My wife and I were introduced to the original Thai Bistro location on Sheridan nearly a decade ago. We were absolutely blown... away by the deliciousness of EVERYTHING we ever ordered, although I will say the Tom Yum noodle bowl is my all time favorite. Since then we’ve traveled the country, spent three years in Okinawa (super close to Thailand) and tried dozens of Thairestaurants fairly frequently as were big fans. I’m delighted to see more people have found out about this place and theirnew location is absolutely fabulous! I’m eating there right now and everything tastes as good as I remember from years ago. The server was super sweet (as they always have been) and showed my three year old son some affection. Happy to see this placegrow and really hope to see them continue. You won’t be disappointed!
