Seriously great experience! All the food is hot and fresh (and when our fries weren't up to par the manager brought us fresh on... the house.) And with half price appetizers after 9pm, it's so affordable it's hard to beat! I hope they never change! Ourfavorites are the breadsticks with Alfredo. I went to olive garden earlier this week and seriously, these breadsticks andAlfredo are way better! We also love the chicken quesadilla, beef nachos, and French onion soup (gotta request that they make itcrispy on top!) The customer service was great. Our server was so kind and on top of everything. She even remembered our family.Its the little things that keep you coming back and this Applebees is on it! All the servers sang happy birthday to my husbandand got way into it! Also brought him a free sundae! The service was great. Your waitresses are kind, patient, helpful, and quick to refill drinks. They deserved a greater tip than... we could afford. The food was awful. We barely ate a quarter of it. When my wife and I left, I already felt sick to my stomach,and now I've been stuck in the bathroom for 2 hours. Your waiting staff deserves a better restaurant. I'm never eating hereagain. Read more
Elizabeth provided excellent service. She was quick to take and get our orders to us, she kept an eye on our waters and made... sure our drinks were replaced in a timely manner, when we requested assistance she was quick to provide it and when I requesteda modification to my order, she was able to fulfill that request. My wife and I think she's the best server we've had at anyrestaurant in years. She listened, she was funny, and she was efficient. We were able to get right in on a Saturday night as acouple. We did not wait long for our meals and they came hot. I see the bathroom is furnished with hands-free soap dispenserfaucet and towel dispenser which I very much prefer. I recommend Applebee's in Layton and would definitely recommend requestingElizabeth for your server. Read more

Our server was amazing, Nadia was so helpful and she did everything she could to make our experience as positive as possible.... Unfortunately, the dark-haired hostess was not professional. She told us 10 minute wait when we put our name on the list. After20 minutes and watching groups who came in after us be sat, I was frustrated. When we asked the hostess why we weren't being satshe told us that our party was too big. We had 5 people in our group and two other parties with 4 people each that came in afterus were sat already. We could see 4 different open clean tables that would fit 5 people. The manager on duty came and saw us toapologize. It was very nice and made a big difference. Read more

Very quick service, order was placed and food was received all in under 20 minutes. Appetizers and entree were delicious. We... want to include Elizabeth in our review (working around 7:30pm, 22 November 2022). She seemed to apologize for "not being ableto serve promptly" but we noticed her working hard between seating tables, taking orders, and working the bar.
