This is good, lightly battered chicken. Peach pie was delightful. There is only outdoor seating.
Ordered for pick-up on a whim as I was driving through town and needed a descent spread for a few people. They had it ready by... the time I arrived and the chicken was amazing! Not heavily breaded and seasonings were so on point. Sides were equally asimpressive and the corn bread and rolls were being pulled out of the oven as I was checking out. I'm not sure, maybe it's just me... But does this even qualify as a strawberry pie? I mean, technically, there is... strawberries... And there's like half a pie crust in there somewhere... But that is LITERALLY all there is... And it cost like$16... Read more
So disappointed! I love the original Maddox in Perry, but this is definitely far from the Maddox I grew up loving.. our order... was wrong (we ordered a full dozen of rolls and cornpones) and plus there wasn?t any raspberry butter. This was my first timeand I won?t be coming back. Read more
Well. There's a KFC across the road. Do you a favor. Look at this chicken (picture below). You know what that fells like. ... It's not right. The breading was unique and had potential but needed salt and flavoring. The mash potatoes are good, but thegravy was soapy. The strawberry pie crust was not fresh and definitely store bought. The chicken could be great for thosewanting healthier and bland chicken. Plus, it didn't feel deep fried or pan fried. It may have been at some point. Got the 2 piece dark meat value meal. Very good with real mashed potatoes and coleslaw. It takes a while to get your order, but... it?s worth it. I?ve been going to KFC all these years and this place is just a little better. Read more
