I'm going to start out with a 5 star rating to our server James! Good attitude, attentive and personable. However, the food was... terrible and the flys out of control! I didn't want to ruin the night with sending food back or causing discord. Took a friendout for dinner to celebrate some good things, to have an extremely disappointing dinner. Bean's and rice were bland. Found outafter the fact, same with my friend's food and the Mole Sauce, bland as well. The Garlic Shrimp Mango was a joke, was it afrozen dish that you just stuck in the microwave and brought out to me for close to $16.00? It truly was terrible. Brought ithome to take a picture to warn everyone not to get this dish! Fishy, tasteless, and obviously not fresh shrimp.???? The flyswere out of control, we were constantly shooing them away! No desert as the ice cream machine was broken. All in all sodisappointed that I spent a pretty penny her tonight. If it wasn't for the company I was with, I would have sent back for sure,and probably left! Two stars only for a friendly server. James, you deserve to serve in a restaurant that can provide good foodand keep the fly situation under control, and offers desert. I will not be returning anytime soon, if ever! Read more
Wonderful food. Had the Combo Burrito, Flavor explosion in my mouth. Salsa and chips are great. Love the building with rustic... look and feel. Great happy, friendly employees. Read more
We went with a pretty big group but they were still able to get us seated quickly. The food was very delicious (but perhaps a... bit overpriced). The service was a little slow, but we did go at peak dinner time with a big group, so it wasn't a big deal. Youhave to go through the Trax parking lot to get there, and at first glance it looks like there isn't any parking for therestaurant itself, but there is parking on the south side of the building. The St. George location is infinitely better, but the food is still good. I'm not wild about the environment at this one. It's... just an awkward building to be in and it feels so cramped. Service is always sub-par. I've never left mad OR impressed; not atthis location anyways. Food came out fast but the pork in the burrito I had was so dry. The shrimp ceviche was alright, butdidn't taste super fresh. I'm a huge fan of the salsa here, specifically the hot salsa. We enjoy Cafe Sabor! We frequent it regularly. Their fajitas are top notch. They have some more authentic Mexican dishes (i.e.... Mole, Tacos AL Pastor), and some more Americanized dishes too. Despite the challenges with staffing that they have had (likemany other restaurants), the food is brought to the table when it is fresh and hot, and I've never had to wait long for it. Thismonth (October 2021) you can get a free Fried Ice Cream (Oct 17 - 31) with the purchase of two entrees when you dine in.Definitely worth a visit! Read more
Cutest little place!!! Hidden little gem near the front runner station. Waitress was so nice & helpful with recommendations.... Mild salsa was so yummy!!! Chips & salsa was really good. Food came out pretty quickly! Rice was really good. I had a tostada &it was really good. My only complaint would be it Would have been nice to have more than one slice of tomato to cut up. I have mixed reviews on this place. The guacamole was delicious. The coconut soup was delicious. My husband said his combo... enchiladas and tostadas, pork was good. But, the pollo crema was vomit!!! It has absolutely no flavor. And the chicken was hardto swallow. DO NOT GET THAT!!!! Our server was average. Nothing to brag about. Did her job. Saw my plate still had most of myfood on it. Offered to remove it from the table. Didn?t as if it was ok. Or offer a to-go box. So, eh on the service. I?m notsure if I?ll go back. We?ll see. Read more
We were tipped off to this place, and it's our new favorite Mexican restaurant!! If you're lucky enough to get James as your... server, you will have the best experience. He is kind, personable, and might even tell you about their THREE DOLLARMARGARITAS!!! You read that right. Love the atmosphere, the decor, and the whole vibe.
