Never again Denny's.... Never again.... We came in at about 1:30pm hoping to avoid a lunch rush. Success, the restaurant was... relatively empty. We sat up front waiting for a host to seat us for about ten minutes. Observed four employees standing in agroup in the corner.... Group meeting? No, they were all separately on their phones scrolling. No conversations. No work beingdone. Zombie stare scrolling. We finally got seated and started our order. Drinks. Two coffees,both cold, no refills...... Outof hazelnut creamer... Out of vanilla creamer... Shortages happen... No worries. Two orange juice.... Out of orange juice... Okwater and apple juice... Again no worries... Shortages happen. We ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast with wheat toast,two crepes with a side of sausage gravy for the hash browns, grand slam pancake breakfast and the new chicken and biscuit andgravy breakfast... And a "chocolate" milk. "There's gonna be kind of a long wait on that because the kitchen is way behind onorders right now." Still not a problem, we're not in a hurry. Chocolate milk comes out..... Maybe this is my fault, I reallylike chocolate milk. Rich, thick and deliciously cold. Refreshing. This was not that. This was your brother grabbing two glassesof milk in the kitchen and splitting the last of the chocolate syrup with you..... One super dark and one with a hint ofchocolate flavoring that is most definitely, at most, containing a teaspoon of syrup. Our Denny's "chocolate milk" was thelatter. $2.99 no refills. Coffee was barely room temp... $5.48 no refills Coke and Hi-C... As expected $2.99 each norefills Crepes were delicious and the reason they get the one star. Grand slam pancakes were great. Chicken fried steakbreakfast advertised on the front of the store at $9.99....$13.79. My friends and I got dinner. The food was good and the service was great!! Darlene was our waitress and she was awesome! Not... only friendly, but stayed on top of everything. My friend kept saying "I think she knows us." But I think that's just her, talksto everyone like a friend she's known you for a while. Read more
Didn't take any pictures, this was our first time here at this location, it was very slow, but the server was very prompt and... very nice. Our food was cooked fresh and tasted delicious! The wait wasn't long and we were very satisfied. We'd definitely comeback! Read more
Decided to stop here on r way home from Idaho...HUGE MISTAKE, waste of time & money! First it took so long to get seated, then... even longer to get r food! If u want to call it thst!?? They were not even busy, maybe 5 other tables/booths full. My sisterdecided to order some breakfast- she wanted scrambled egg white's & crispy but not burnt bacon. She got it and it looked likeshe ordered MASHED POTATOES & JERKY!! Then my niece n I both ordered cheeseburgers, with seasoned fries, not that difficultright? We both got the worst fries, not seasoned (which they charge extra for) but burnt, yet soggy? How do u even do that? Thenwe tried to eat r cheeseburgers, the bun was so soggy n disgusting! My neice ony ate the patty!! Thinking the waitress wouldnotice all of the food that was un-eaten on all of r plates when we asked for the check?? NOPE! Terrible service, our food took forever to come out, when it finally came we had no silverware, we had to ask two different... people for silverware, by the time it came to us out food had been getting cold for at least 5 minutes in front of us. Forsome reason it took until all our food was gone and 10 times being told they were checking on the white toast I ordered beforethey brought it out. Keep in mind I'm pregnant, I was feeling nauseous, and all I really wanted was that today to calm mystomach down. When it finally came out, it was not toasted just stale cold bread with oily not melted goo on it. Drinks wereempty, we had to get up from our table and go find someone to get anything we needed, we barely saw our waitress. Therestaurant was staffed just fine and not very busy. The person who brought our food out was very short with us, and was notlistening to anything we said. People who came in way after us had food before us. Never again. The service is exhausting slow & below minimum standard. Took about 30 minutes to get drinks, asked multiple times... for coffee refills and didn?t get them because ?her coffee pot got stolen?? Paid extra for items that never got brought to thetable despite asking for them multiple times. My daughter ordered spaghetti and the noodles were as dry as if they sat out fromlast night. Crepes were too crunchy to even cut. I also had onion on my bacon, so who knows what kind of cross contamination isactually happening back there. Also the table behind was clearly just as upset, pretty sure they saw their server the 3 timesit?s required to come around. Drinks, bring the food, and bring the check. This is your typical Denny's. If you are expecting world class food choices, remember. YOU chose Denny's. As a dedicated... reviewer I really could only give this establishment 3 stars, because I leave 4 and 5 to truly amazing restaurants. But for aDenny's we have been coming here for years and years. The owner needs to do some refurbishments on this location. But the staffwas AMAZING. They were overwhelmed with customers due to lack of staff. But the staff hustled and did their best. They were in agood mood and very nice. Which was nice. The food was typical Denny's. But it was very well made and the cooks prepared itcorrectly. I'm so glad the staff loves helping customers. Because that's what makes a difference in a restaurant like this.Great job! Read more
