Famous Dave's has the most delicous, succulent and fall off the bone ribs. We had to stop at Famous Dave's to get the awesome... ribs. We also got delicous sides of Corn & Mac/Cheese! The corn bread muffin was delicous! The service was excellent & with asmile. The restaurant was clean and organized. Famous Dave's in Layton should be how all Famous Dave's locations operate, which is perfect & awesome! Read more

Absolutely great service!!! We (25 family members) came in at 9pm from a long day at Lagoon. We asked to have our tables... together and without hesitation, they got everything ready for us. Our waiter Sam was amazing. He took our orders based on eachgroup ticket and always came back to check on everyone. Food was fresh and delicious. The staff also came to help Sam bring outthe food and were friendly. I haven't been to a restaurant that has accommodated this many people and gave great service forquite some time now. Thank you Sam for making our experience great. Read more

I tried the rib tips here and I found it quite grisly. I thought that the sides were delicious though. I would stick to... brisket/ribs. The lunch special is a great bang for your buck though. Nice customer service and would come again. Read more

The Positive: The greeter. Sweet lady who was super friendly and helpful. We tipped her for being so great. The food was... delicious and worth the price. Compliments to the chef! Negative: Our waiter didn't speak English very well and it createdproblems communicating. It felt like he was overwhelmed and needed help. Never saw sight of any manager the whole time we werethere. Service was so poor that my son declined his birthday ice cream because we were not wanting to wait any longer. We had totrack down our own ketchup and had the greeter assist us in getting a cornbread for the 2 year old. Read more

It’s all about time of day. We came here around 530pm right before the dinner rush so our ribs weren’t dry. Overall good... experience short staffed but very friendly waitress. I will come back to this location. I’d skip the Mac N Cheese. Orderedthe dinner combo for 2 and an item off kids menu. Read more

It was good but not great. The ribs are definitely the best meat option, and if we go back, I'll get those. It was pretty... expensive, about $25 a person including a drink but not including tip. You can probably finish all the food on your tray asportion sizes are reasonable. I had burnt ends and roasted chicken. The chicken was a little dry but the flavor was alright. Theburnt ends had a nice flavor though. I'd go back but it probably won't be my first choice. They also offer a military discount. Read more

The servers here did a great job, even though they were severely understaffed. Would give 5 stars, but the bathrooms sinks... didn't have any pressure, so I wasn't able to wash my hands thoroughly. Read more
