Came to this shop because they advertise locally roasted coffee. Turns out they roast their own. Which is awesome?. However,... staff was perplexed by coffee bean questions?. Couldn?t answer on who roasts their beans (they finally read the label and werelike ?oh we do I guess?. Had to explain that French and Italian were not bran types but roasts? but oh well. Shop was prettybasic?quote ?you are in a purple trailer?? but I came for the coffee. Took a pound of their Columbian Supremo, ground for pourover (I?m on a business trip). Now for the good? came back to hotel and made a pour over ?the bloom was very nice which told methe roast was fresh. Coffee was smooth with no bite?. Very pleasant to drink. I know that finding great help is hard today, but a tad bit of effort on their part would have secured a 5 star vs a 3. They were not rude, just didn?t seem to care thatthey didn?t know their product. Coffee was A+, help a C. Read more

I'm a GCF regular. I like Chai latte and I like the Jasmin green prepared as a latte. The Jasmin green latte isn't on the menu... but they've always done their best to accommodate. Above and beyond. Read more

I love this shop! I use to visit more frequently when I lived close by and now I pass by on my commute but the road construction... has slowed my visits but I am thrilled they are still thriving and everyone is so cheerful and pleasant that even a bitcomplicated to drop by quickly it is still well worth it. Thank you Read more

Getting so sick of closed lobbies. Edit: They had it closed today. Door locked. Wouldn?t answer. I drive a tall truck that... doesn?t fit under your awning. I ended up getting in line at the drive through then standing in the rain to get my coffee. Loveyour coffee and have never had bad service before, but today was irritating. Luckily I felt better after i enjoyed the coffee.???? Read more

My son and I stopped off at Grounds for Coffee, he had a medium Timor coffee and a breakfast sandwich. He said he enjoyed them... both. I had a medium Hazelnut Cafe? Latte and a Cranberry Walnut muffin. The latte was delicious and the muffin was tasty. Theservice was fast and friendly! And, it is conveniently located off of route 89 in Layton. Will most definitely return! Read more

This is a nice little coffee shop. It is right off the highway and is defiantly the best coffee around this area. It is hard to... find a good shop up here but Grounds For Coffee was great. A lot of options and pretty fast considering how busy it normally is.They even have a drive through, which is nice. If you are in the area and looking for a tasty cup, this is the place. Defiantlyworth the stop. Read more
