As a Cincinnati native who knows awesome German food, this restaurant truly is a hidden gem!!! I ordered the Reuben and my... family ordered a variety of brats, schnitzel, potato dishes, and pretzels. Everything- and we ordered a lot- was fantastic!!!Including the beer! The restaurant has really lovely outdoor seating, overlooking the Mississippi River. This alone made our lunch worth it. The big... pretzel was great, the cheese curds were at cheese curds were as to be expected, but the main course was a bit of a letdown. Iordered a burger and wasn't asked how i wanted it cooked which was a red flag. When i got the burger, it seemed likely to becooked from frozen patties. Pretty underwhelming. Bierstube is an awesome, unique restaurant serving classic German dishes and some modern dishes with a German twist. The food... was delicious! They also have a great selection of both foreign and domestic beer. If you got your fill at the restaurant, butare still thirsty you can order some of their bottled beer to go. Read more
Horrible. Waitress rude wouldn't even look at you. Then u would pick what u wanted off menu. She came back 2x said oh sorry we... don't have that. Acted like it was such an inconvenience to her. Finally got food not what we really wanted cause no one saidit wasn't on menu. My fries were cold but granddaughter was a good temp. Did I get someone else fries? Grossed me our. I waslooking so forward of going here. But will never go again. Talked to a manager she said she would have waitress call me. Causethey live for making sure tourist are happy. No phone or nothing. first dessert.. the black forest cake is awesome.. the food is good.. the onion rings not so much.. server time is very slow..... but could be short staffed.. would have been nice to been told up front.. would have stayed, but ordered dessert first.. ???? Read more

The only thing I liked about this place was their choices of beer. Besides that, the food was below mediocre. The bratwurst was... really dry and did not taste good at all. The pork shank is nothing like you would expect to get, the only flavor you taste isthe BBQ sauce and not to mention that it was bone dry. The saurkraut and cornedbeef rolls was really greasy and bland. The floorwas dirty and messy, our table was sticky. The wait staff was attentive at least, probably will not be coming back. Read more
Phenomenal food!! Sausages, the potato salad, the egg rolls, pretzel all were amazing. Definitely need to come back more often
