This place was recommended to us by a business down the street since we were visiting the area for the first time. Since they... are right along the Mississippi, we had decided we would order our food and picnic with a nice river view. The staff was beyondawesome and with a classic mom and pop atmosphere, you couldn't ask for better first time experience. Soon as you walk throughthe door, you're greeted with friendly smiles and cheerful personalities. They even worked around our rushing to order so thatwe could get back out to the truck where our dogs were waiting for us and some burgers as well. They even brought the orders outwhen ready rathert than letting it sit for us to come back in. With all of the traveling we do, finding the businesses thatstill put customers first, rank sky high in our favor and will always make us repeat customers again when we pass through. Thefood was delicious as well, full of flavor and abundant in portion sizes. Wonderful small town sandwich and ice cream shop. Nostalgia is key here. Ice cream and malts were great. Service was very good.
The pork tenderloin sandwich was amazing! The fries and grilled cheese on Texas toast was really good. Service really friendly
Fantastic burgers. Probably wouldn't have thought to stop there if it wasn't for the reviews. Little itty-bitty no-frills... diner... the staff was helpful, the menu classic... We did order takeout burger and fries, the food was made fresh, and servedpiping hot in a few minutes. The burgers were flavorful and satisfying.
