This place was recommended to us by a business down the street since we were visiting the area for the first time. Since they... are right along the Mississippi, we had decided we would order our food and picnic with a nice river view. The staff was beyondawesome and with a classic mom and pop atmosphere, you couldn't ask for better first time experience. Soon as you walk throughthe door, you're greeted with friendly smiles and cheerful personalities. They even worked around our rushing to order so thatwe could get back out to the truck where our dogs were waiting for us and some burgers as well. They even brought the orders outwhen ready rathert than letting it sit for us to come back in. With all of the traveling we do, finding the businesses thatstill put customers first, rank sky high in our favor and will always make us repeat customers again when we pass through. Thefood was delicious as well, full of flavor and abundant in portion sizes. Whenever travelling this way, I highly recommendstopping in for good food, cheerful greetings and a great riverview experience. Read more
Wonderful small town sandwich and ice cream shop. Nostalgia is key here. Ice cream and malts were great. Service was very good.

Fantastic burgers. Probably wouldn't have thought to stop there if it wasn't for the reviews. Little itty-bitty no-frills... diner... the staff was helpful, the menu classic... We did order takeout burger and fries, the food was made fresh, and servedpiping hot in a few minutes. The burgers were flavorful and satisfying. Great food, great ice cream and phenomenal staff!! They're extremely friendly and efficient. I've been coming to this location... since I was a kid (back when it was Dairy Sweet,) and I always loved it. It's even better now than it was then! I love beingable to still come here and now, bring my kids with to make the same great memories it gave me. I wish I could give them 10stars. They deserve it! Read more
I love this place. If you?re on a tow boat it?s easy to lay in on the bank and send the guys over to get some grub. I got the... breaded pork tenderloin and mushrooms. Both were excellent. The pork loin is not beat so thin that it?s mostly breading. It?s anice thick piece breaded evenly. Could easily make 2 sandwiches. I try to stop when ever I?m up this way. Read more
