Ate here a couple times this week and had great service both times. In a time of lackluster service this place is great. They... really need to get a better biscuits and gravy recipe or take them off the menu. Made there or not, they are hard on thebottoms or microwaved, the gravy need more or better sausage. On a good note the chorizo and eggs was great (definitely onpoint with chorizo they serve in San Diego). Read more

Today 9/18/22 we were looking forward to trying a unique breakfast place on our way home from Illinois. There were several... tables open. 3 people in front of us. A single guy and a couple. As we waited another group of 3 came in. The single guy wasseated at a table for 2 and the couple was seated in a booth for at least 4 if not more. Then another group of 3 came in. Afterseveral minutes the 1st group of 3 was seated at a table for 4. We were a little confused as to why they were seated before usbut was ok with still waiting. After several more minutes the next group of 3 were seated at a table for 4. At this point I toldthe girl to take our name off the list and we will not be back. Great breakfast place with friendly, efficient service. We arrived at 11 on a Sunday morning and only waited 15 minutes for a... table. My tasty burger was an actual hand-formed patty, and my included side was fried jalapenos which was a nice change ofpace. My husband's chicken-fried steak was crispy with a good gravy (he's a gravy connoisseur). The beef and eggs come from afarmer who does minimal processing, so they care about the quality of their ingredients. Read more
Let's be honest, I'm a fat boy. It takes a hearty helping to get my fill. I usually have to order twice but not at berries.... Great small town breakfast all day restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and I darn near needed to ask for a box. But this guyis no quitter. Even though my stomach said stop my mouth said eat. Breakfast At Berries is OK. The food was pretty average. The service was also average. The prices were pretty average also. It's... not a bad place at all but I do not feel that it is exceptional. We would go there again. The only thing I didn't like was thefact that they sell soft drinks in cans. If you want a refill, it's not free like most places. It costs the same as the firstone. That makes soft drinks pretty expensive. Read more
What a great place! It was busy and we had to wait a few minutes to get seated, but well worth it. My wife had the ?Maxine?... omelette and I had the ?Farmer? (chicken fried steak, eggs and hash browns) the food was absolutely delicious, came to our tablehot and the service felt like I was in my grandma?s kitchen.
