We have eaten here many times in my life and its a fine local spot. We were thrilled they were open for Thanksgiving. They... phoned us a couple days before to confirm our time and told us they allowed quests to enjoy 90 minutes for dinner. I think thiswas a good plan to keep the flow moving along. The atmosphere was beautiful and homey as always. The staff was fabulous andattentive, and do their best to make you feel welcome and a part of their family. They had a special Thanksgiving menu. Theyalso had a "leftover" menu, that included take home portions of turkey, potato, squash, gravy, and stuffing that you could buyby the serving. My companion and I both had the traditional turkey dinner, and took home servings of turkey, gravy, andsquash. The reason I have this review 3 stars was the tiny portion sizes (which this establishment is notorious for) and thefact that we both had much more dark meat (which neither of us care for). Turkey is a relatively cheap meat still these days, and to serve such skimpy portions is unnecessary. We both had 1 very small, razor thin piece of white meat and several chunks ofdark meat. The turkey we purchased from the "leftover menu" was 2 portions and also had 2 razor thin slices of turkey and a therest was all dark meat. We also purchased 2 servings of squash from the leftover menu and that was not even in the bag when wegot home. This weekend we had a turkey dinner at another local restaurant, and were delighted with the amout of turkey (plentyto take home for leftovers, without trying to sell us more) and not a spec of dark meat as they use the dark meat in otherdishes, unless someone asks for dark meat. And the price was a few dollars less as well, and included dessert. Read more

Cute restaurant in a railroad depot beside the rails! Delmonico steak was huge and had a very good taste even though a little... past medium rare stage ordered. Stuffed baked potato was great with broccoli, cheese, sour cream and bacon. Senior sized calvesliver with bacon and onions was so tender and juicy with a wonderful taste. Cooked perfect! Brussel sprouts were also great.Rolls and homemade muffins were brought up out before entree, very nice touch! The servers were friendly and very helpful andthe owner came around to every table and checked on how we were doing, even pitching in and cleaning a table. Would highlyrecommend!!! Read more

Come here for the old world charm? and to be inspired by a 90 year old lady that runs this place. You?d be greeted with freshly... baked warm muffins and butter. Ordered bruschetta, a couple of pastas, and a chocolate brownie? everything was amazing and madeto perfection? the only thing that beats the amazing food is the warm service? almost everyone has been working here for a longtime and everyone is passionate about this place and their guests? you can?t get this kind of food and this level of service atreally high end / expensive restaurants? This place has an additional advantage? it?s was right on our way from Niagara toNYC/NJ. Will definitely stop here every time I am on Thai route. Read more

First visit and fascinated by the history of the depot. Looks original and a nice feeling sitting there with a very welcoming... staff. I had the Sunday special that included entree, appetizer and desert for $18.99 and my wife had the chicken pot pie for$10.99. I would recommend they add additional seasonings to the foods. Will be back when they have there Sunday turkey dinnerspecial. Was a very nice relaxing dining experience that even included soft background music from the past. Read more
