I've never had a cooked chicken on outside then raw on inside ..now I have . And it was cheep bad chicken stuffed in a pepper ,... My daughter didn't like her enchilada dish either. The only good thing about our first visit was the tea. Everything else was below mediocre. My chicken had absolutely no... seasoning, the red sauce had almost no Mexican flavor, even the little salad on my plate was bad. It was mostly chopped rawonion. And the chips and salsa weren't great. I am new to this area, still looking for Mexican food like in Dallas. Read more

Children of the owner were screaming in the patio seating area and I approached to ask them to quiet down as they were hurting... my father's ears with his hearing aids. I was intercepted by a man claiming to be an owner who said they were his children andthat they were in the children's play area (which is apparently the outside seating area as there were no toys, no playground,nothing for children, etc.). He didn't even allow me to speak to explain my concern before he got angry and defensive,repeatedly telling me that the kids were in their play area. I finally explained about my dad's hearing aids and he told us togo sit inside. I explained that we specifically chose this restaurant so we could sit on the patio to enjoy the nice weather. He started yelling at me, my young daughter, and my parents, repeatedly telling us to "get a life" and then called my daughter"spoiled". I almost NEVER leave one star reviews, but this place managed to do it. I?ve been here on two separate occasions and the second... one was much worse. The first time, it took a long time to get my food. Our server was also a manager and told us stories that,while funny, were not at all family friendly. He was nice and gave us a coupon but BEWARE, they do not honor this coupon. I cameback because my wife was craving Mexican and we decided to give this place another try. I attempted to give them the coupon I?dbeen given less than a month ago and was told they don?t honor those. I tried to speak with them but I was just dismissed andtold it was just too bad. If I wasn?t incredibly hungry, I would?ve just cancelled my order out of principle. I do not recommendthis place because of the horrid service. The food itself was decent, nothing to write home about, probably worth 3-4 stars, butthe service clearly brings it down to 0 stars. It was absolutely awful. Worst service ever!!! Two adults given one menu. Asked waitress for another menu. She said sure; we never got it. Asked for... more chips and salsa. Waitress said sure; we never got it. Got our food, had no salsa, had no chips, had empty glasses, andnever saw the waitress again until she brought the bill. Then, she set the paper bill in the water on the table where the waterglass was sitting and put the glass (dripping wet from condisation) on top of the bill. Picked up the paper bill, and the waterwas dripping from it. We waited over 10 minutes; waitress never came back to get my credit card. She did however come visit allthe tables around me. The service was great! Our order came out very quickly, within 10 minutes. It all smelled appetizing, but the refried beans... were a bit runny, as is seen in the picture. The food on the brunch menu is a bit pricey, while the food prices on the dinnermenu is comparable to other Houston-area Mexican restaurants. If you like sweet tea, you'll have to add sweetness. Their flourtortillas are really good, but the chicken isn't very flavorful. I would recommend this restaurant if you would like to try aplace that you've not tried before, just so you can make your own opinion. Read more
