What a fantastic experience! The staff doesn't know a stranger!!! They treat you as if you are a regular. The staff was... friendly, fun, and extremely welcoming. Food was DELICIOUS! We tried the catfish special, chicken fried steak, and burrito.Nothing disappointed. The apple cobbler was excellent! Highly recommend. After a couple of long days of riding motorcycles I found myself wanting a big salad. Turns out that's kind of hard to find... around this part of the country. Enter Mill Creek Cafe and their Chef Salad. Everything in the salad was fresh and delicious, mygiant diet coke was refreshing, and the nice air conditioning cooled me down. Perfect! Read more
Burgers tasted just like homemade, amazing. and full of flavor. The fries were ok, but the onion ring were freshly battered and... delicious. The wait staff was friendly, but if you want refills you need to get there attention because this place gets packed,and they are busy. We will definitely be back. Read more
Read the reviews and it was a mixed bag. I see why now. The salad bar was excellent. Everything look and tasted fresh. No... buffet when we went and was something I really wanted to try. Had the hamburger steak which was hot and very flavorful. Friestasted like they were cooked a few times. Maybe it is the type of fry. Not my favorite. My dinner companion had the same,with mashed potatoes which were cold. She enjoyed the hamburger steak as well. So not sure of the experience. Very laid backatmosphere, staff is friendly but not overly attentive. Maybe try again if they have buffet. Read more
Server was friendly, kind and fast on her feet. Food was wonderful, in fact, I'm thinking that I may have eaten the Best BLT... of my life! It was served on Texas toast. Did you take a gander of those incredible fries? Ooo, yum??! Read more

In the small town of Leakey, this place is a gem. I had the best BLT and their homemade onion rings were wonderful. Selection is... great as are prices. We met a man at Lost Maples who recommended Mill Creek Cafe to us. Read more
