Tasty and cheap. Meatloaf special was great. Nachos Bellagrande was a nice portion with tons of toppings.

Great food. Excellent chili and burgers. Server was amazing. I would have loved to give Skippy's a five star review, but it took... almost 30 minutes to get our food and we were the only guests in the restaurant. Read more

This place is a must stop. The food was excellent & our waitress was the best. The food taste like my grandma's cooking. The... fried oyster mushrooms were awesome. The country fried pork cutlet melts in your mouth & the greenbeans were fresh, not out of acan. Again, a must stop & its part of the Route 66. Read more

Honestly this place is not good. We had the butterfly shrimp and walleye fish. The shrimp was burnt it hurt my teeth to eat it... sounded like a rock. The fish was bland and had absolutely no flavor. The baked potatoes were hard. And the service washorrible. We had to go up multiple times and get our waitress because she took over 20 mins to get butter and ketchup. Ourneighboring table had to offer us the things we needed. The she said they only had one lemon slice in the whole building. Andthe sweet tea wasn?t even sweet. Read more

I always see this place crowded, so I decided to stop in to get a bite to eat. They have a real good menu. Everything looks so... delicious but I chose the French dip and I'm so glad. Best I've had in a long time! it was real roast beef, cooked nice andtender, the bread was soft and the aue jus was delicious.( For those who may have dentures or no teeth it's still easy to eat). The tea is fresh brewed sweet, but not overloaded with sugar that you couldn't taste the tea and they added a fresh lemon slice. It's a little bar and grill pub the bar maid was very polite & she served me well. I recommend this place and I will be goingback. ???????????? Read more

So we dropped into this little tavern oasis looking for some afternoon lunch. You?ll be presently surprised to find that this... tavern/restaurant there?s a very nice mom and pop shop. I could see throwing down some nice beers here in the evening or a fairprice lunch during the day. Either way this is small-town America on route 66 in Missouri. These guys have been around for 20years and it?s because they?re salt of the earth people good customer service. Read more
