We used to come here with my dad as children and it was so nostalgic to be back again years later after the rebuild. The food... was the same greasy spoon goodness I remembered. Our group enjoyed the onion rings in particular! I did subtract one star forthe whipped cream. The milkshake itself was good, but the whip cream left an almost wax like film coating your mouth that wasboth off putting texture wise and taste wise. Overall, a nice stop while traversing Stevens Pass. The juke box and decor willtransport you back in time. The staff are also very friendly! Read more

The restaurant was clean and the staff was welcoming. I ordered a coconut pineapple milkshake and it was fantastic. The shake... was creamy and fruity. I generally don't order onion rings but this time I did. The onion rings were very good. The onion ringswere covered in what tasted like a waffle batter. They were light and cooked to perfection. Overall I recommend this place andmy wife and I plan on returning someday... Read more

We went because it had been featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. Old fashioned milkshakes and large portions. Food was... adequate. But we didn't have the burger which they are known for. My son didn't care for what he chose to order. Butfortunately my Philly cheese was big enough for the two of us. The place itself is worth the experience. Beautifully restoreddiner from Chicago. They're back in full operation. Yes I know they reopened some time ago. The food is great, ample portions. The milkshakes are... still huge. Plenty of flavors and you can create your own flavor if you want. Great the see them again. Will, as always, afavorite stop when we're in the area! Read more

Never did I think that we'd come back to a diner on a random highwway multiple times during our to Leavenworth.... but it was... definitely the best place we ate. We came with a group of 10 - called ahead and they set up a long table for us. Since we had alarge group, I got to see and try many different dishes. Everything was delicious. I was impressed with their Chicken FriedSteak with mashed potatoes, burger, and french dip. Everything was flavorful and portioned well. The real star of course istheir milkshake - their huge selection of milkshakes. I got the peanut butter and chocolate - top notch. People loved theirbanana shake (it was delicious and I am not even usually a fan of bananas), malt vanilla was a big hit and their cookies andcream is an all time favorite as well. Just get their shakes. You won't regret it. I didn't end up coming back for breakfastbut my friend did and she said their "banana pancakes were the best she has ever had." so sounds like you can't go wrong withtheir breakfast either. Highly recommend a visit!!! Read more

The sign says they have the best milkshakes. They claim you can eat it with a fork? Well not the day I was there. It was good,... but a little on the thin side for any shake. Let alone one with such high claims of thickness. Which was surprising consideringthey use hand scoop ice cream. I chose blackberry, they used real fruit, and that is usually a top 5 for me. I was lucky enoughto have a taste of the black raspberry. I would recommend that flavor over the blackberry. The food was good. The wet frieswere interesting. Brown gravy (with veggies) poured over seasoned crinkle fries. Both were on the salty side. So together it wasa bit much. They were a fun new thing for me. I doubt I would order them again. Without requesting no salt fries. The restaurantit's self is very cool! Memorabilia from the 50 Era diners. Neon, lighting the silver on the outside beautifully. Fun names formost of the things on the menu. Outdoor seating. Overall, it was a great experience! Read more

Was the best meal we had the two weeks we spent in WA. Burger was cooked to perfection, juicy and you could tell it was fresh.... Fries were amazing, not too salty and crispy but not dry. I asked for added bacon and avocado. The avocado was beautiful andripe. They gave me half of one. The milk shake and dessert were to die for. Bottom line, fresh ingredients and great servicemakes for a perfect experience. The atmosphere was cute too! Read more
