The steak lacks seasoning. The stew looked like it came from a can and didn't taste much better. I am not a fan of serving... dishes off of a huge plastic cart. The staff push these plastic carts around with the plates on them and the cart is very loudon the tile floors. Then the plates come in metal containers to keep them warm. Reminds me of the way they serve food in ahospital. I was looking for a fine dining experience but it felt very cafeteria- esque. The food runners have no idea whoordered what and hand diners the wrong plates. Definitely will not come back. There is a level of service expected when diningat an establishment that charges over $40 a steak and this place doesn't meet the mark at all. Read more

First time going there with the family. Had a reservation front desk girls didn’t know where to sit us. They sat us in a... uncomfortable spot were all the Leawood echelons were just staining you down.Waited got to our table and took a while foracknowledgement from the waiter. It was busy. So we sat there very hungry just staring at each other but we already knew what wewere getting. My daughter kept asking when they were bringing bread and butter? Just a couple minutes before our food was servedwe received the so much anticipated bread and butter. Bread was pretty hard and kinda cold butter was flavorful. The meat wasokay didn’t justify the price. The sides were better than the steaks. Maybe it was just a bad day to go there, but it seemslike too much hype for the price for old and outdated restaurant. Overall food was a 4, service was a 3 in our experience. Nexttime I’ll just get a pack of prime meat from Costco. Read more

The food was great. My wife and I split the cowboy ribeye steak. Nicely prepared with excellent sides. The service was uneven.... Sometimes the wait staff was helpful and attentive. Other times it was difficult to get their attention. We had to ask threedifferent people for butter and sour cream that should have been included for our baked potatoes. Further, our dishes weren'tcleared after each course. Our appetizer dishes were with us to the end of the meal. Lastly, we did have some specific requestsregarding our table. The person at the front desk went out of her way to accommodate our requests for which was greatlyappreciated. Read more

We got the Prime rib & the grilled meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Both were outstanding! Fried green tomatoes & stuffed... mushrooms were exceptional. And the service was impeccable as always! That prime rib melts in your mouth! We ate at the Leawoodlocation, but all of the locations are great! Read more

This was excellent. This was easily the best steakhouse I've ever had the pleasure of eating at. The steak, when cooked rare,... essentially melts in your mouth. The mango pork chops were phenomenal as well. I highly suggest opting to do the dinner for two(four course meal) with the suggested wine pairings. It added an entire other layer to our dinner. Overall the food was as to be expected from a KC steakhouse. All of us except my wife had a cup of clam chowder which was... amazing. We shared an out-of-shell oyster which was not very good. The only thing we did not like. My dad and I each had thecowboy steak which was cooked perfectly with the cheesy potato side also good. My wife had the salmon and mixed vegetables witha side of asparagus and my mom had the sea bass with a side of mixed vegetables. The service was a bit slow but mainly becausethey were short-handed. Our server Kelly was awesome and has been with the company for 26 years. Highly recommend her. Overall I would come back. Next time we come I'll get the meal for two where you can choose a three or 4-course meal. Thetotal bill was only $247 Read more

Got reservations for Friday night dinner, but it was fairly calm and still had open tables. We were seated in a side room, a bit... quieter and great for spending hours talking over a nice meal. The server was kind, helpful, and patient as we leisurely tookour time. Enjoyed the stuffed mushroom appetizer. The Ribeye was cooked as ordered, and the hearty meal was big enough to boxleftovers and bag wine, plus order desserts to go. Finished the evening over coffee, never felt rushed even as closing timeapproached. Overall a really pleasant experience. Read more

Host seated us promptly but put us near the server station, which had a lot of traffic and noise. Not sure why that table was... selected when the restaurant was mostly empty except for two other tables. Service was *very* slow. Our server took severalminutes to get our drinks probably because she was too busy chatting loudly with the bartender about her day, as we witnessedfrom our table. Food was the only redeeming quality about this place. My apple pecan salad was delicious, but the accompanyingsteak was oddly served on a skewer on a side plate instead of on top of the salad as shown in the menu pic. There are manyother restaurants in the same price range that have better food and service. Not worth the time here. Read more
