This was our first visit and while we were not impressed we have decided to try it one more time. The main reason is because... both my husband and I had a hamburger and we could tell it's of the frozen variety. While we expect a restaurant thatspecializes in meat to serve a good burger we also understand they really focus on other types of meat. So we will give itanother try for different meats. I can tell it's well liked as everyone else around us mentioned how much of a regular theywere. Our waiter, James, was attentive and patient with us, we did not feel rushed. Easy access off the state road. Decent amount of parking. Stopped in on a Friday evening. Seated right away. Prices are okay,... the food quality seemed great. Got the brisket. So tinder the fork was over kill for cutting it. Sides were good. Personally nota fan of the potato salad. Read more

I was looking for a place to host a nice, but affordable rehearsal dinner for 30 people. Other places I had looked at had a... ridiculously high minimum because it was a Friday night. Parky’s had a very reasonable minimum ($500) and were veryaccommodating to work with. I was initially concerned about it being a “semi-private” area instead of a separate room, but Iwas completely unaware of anyone else in the restaurant during our time there. Our guests were able to choose from severaloptions (that we selected in advance) and everyone loved the food and the accommodations. This was a completely positiveexperience and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to plan a similar type of event! Read more

It had great flavor, the food could have been hotter. We started with Onion Tanglers which were average, but the Mac n cheese... bites were delish! We decided to share a meal that had all the BBQ choices. I loved everything except the ribs. Ribs werealmost too sweet. Definitely will order the shredded pork as a full meal next time. really disappointing. the grilled tenderloin had an odd flavor almost like bologna and then it had something very spicy although... it wasn't supposed to have anything on it. it also had grilled charcoal burnt lines on it that weren't very appetizing. I'mguessing the grill wasn't scraped down after whatever else was cooked on it before. the breaded tenderloin was no better. ithad no flavor. both tenderloins had gristle and fat that were inedible that should have been trimmed off. we did not finish thetenderloins even though we were still hungry. the fries were decent but could have been excellent if they were crispy. the macand cheese was very cheesy but the noodles were under done and needed another 3 minutes cooking. We we're looking forward tothe bread pudding but they ran out the day before. I think we caught them on a bad day because we have had friends that reallylike the food here. on a happy note, they don't use styrofoam so everything we got is recyclable. compostable would be evenbetter.
