I cannot see this brand lasting. The kiosks and ppl throwing food on the counter isn't Steak and Shake. The food is still Steak... and Shake, but the menu is dramatically reduced. I will give the Lebanon one credit. Steak and Shake has always had sketchbathrooms. This one was clean. The fries are still stringy, the steak burgers are still prepared on a griddle and they stillhave Chili 5 way, but it ain't the same. Read more

The chili 5-way is always remarkable! Customer service was limited, but very kind. The only issue I had was that this location... is completely self-serve. It felt cold & eerily quiet. Not the restaurant I grew up loving. I get that Covid changed a lot, butI think bringing food to the table would still be easy. Read more

Here at 10:30 am wow I hope this isn't a trend for all Steak n shakes, order on kiosk dine in and take out, no waitress anymore,... and they still want tips when paying on kiosk, when given my bag nothing at all was said to me, NOTHING no enjoy, have a niceday absolutely not one word! Now the food, let's just say I should have went to McDonald's, steak n shake use to be reallygood, not today the burger was terrible, my dog got lucky I hated it, he loved it but then again he eats anything lol, hopethis was just a bad day for them but they had just opened so I'm guessing it always is bad, good luck and hope this place getsback on track with everything, they need a better management team to make it good again Read more

Took a while to get food but all of it was hot and fresh so it was definitely worth the wait. Burgers were cooked great, just... the right amount of sauce and the fries were fresh hot and crispy. One of the better experiences I had at a steak and Shake! Read more

So you have to order at the kiosk and then pick up your own order. But then they want you to leave a tip. Am I tipping the... kiosk? Am I tipping to keep someone in the back from spitting on my food? Absolutely no human interaction. Then, the burgersaren?t as good as they used to be. Sadly, McDonald?s tastes better. Want a tip? Don?t go to steak ?n Shake. Read more

I understand about the kiosk with not having Wait staff never used it but was easy. Once order was placed shakes were made... faster than ever if we had a waiter or waitress and were made how we had on the kiosk. The garlic burgers were awesome. It'sbeen a few years since I had steak and shake since the one closest to where I live doesn't have dine in and drive thru is notthe same. We were excited to get to dine in and we enjoyed the shakes and burgers. Thank you so much who worked that day. Youmade our day with the burgers and shakes ???? Read more

The fries were crispy and perfect, the shakes were amazing. The burgers were delicious but a little too moist, maybe just... needed a hotter grille tonight. This was a great stop the meal was prepared quickly and very nicely presented. Read more

Burger was good, but fries & chili were barely warmer than room temperature - very disappointing. Another of their restaurants... converted to kiosk ordering only, so service is non-existent and all workers obviously hate their jobs. I won't be back. Used toenjoy going to this location because of their friendly, small-town service. Read more
