Nice mexican restaurant. Classic mexican food, good service and great staff.
We were big fans of this place for several years and were supportive when they stayed open for COVID. However, recent... experiences have not been as good. The service has been slow to absent even in a half filled dining room. We waited 20 minutesfor the first visit from the waitress and ordered right away not knowing when she would be back (it was another 20 minutes forour drinks to arrive). We then waited another 45+ minutes (it could have been an hour) for our order. It was almost 90 minutesfrom our arrival to our meal. Usually the food is very good but our past couple of visits have been disappointing. The foodhas been warm not hot. Also it seemed as if they plated our food, let it sit, then placed it in the oven to warm it up. Thebeans and rice were crusty, not fresh, and the meat was dry and over cooked (like it was warmed in an oven). After such a wait,it was disappointing and discouraging that the food did make up the difference. There are other local restaurants to supportand it will be some time before we go back here. Awful service. We arrived at 7:12pm this evening and were sat at a table within a couple of minutes. At 8:36 we still didn?t... have our food. We had to pick up our kid at 9pm and when we asked our server for the status of our food she gave me attitude andsaid she didn?t know we had a time constraint. The restaurant says they close at 9pm so I didn?t think we needed to worry aboutthat. I also didn?t think we needed to inform our server of our post-dinner plans and obligations before the kitchen coulddecide when to make our food. These rules would be helpful to know. The manager came over and acted like she had no Idea wewere unhappy. We paid our bill and left without eating. We got food to go but it?ll be cold by the time we get home. Won?t beback anytime soon. If you can?t service your customers in a reasonable amount of time have the courtesy to inform people beforethey sit. Read more
