Food is cinsistantly good here. Atmosphere is very loud and pub like. If you want a quiet dinner and conversation this might not... be your place. My child with sensory issues struggles here. Went for lunch and sat at the bar. The bartender never stopped! They were busy and short staffed like everyone else but the... service was still excellent. Got the GIANT pretzel appetizer and it was just ok...a little too bread-like for a pretzel(expected it to be chewey) but the flavor was good and so were the dipping sauces. Fish and chips were excellent - the fish wascooked perfectly and not greasy at all. Guinness stew was also very good. Highly recommend and will go back when in the area. Read more
This was our first time at Salt Hill in downtown Lebanon, NH and I am hoping it will not be our last! Lovely atmosphere and wait... staff! The food was very good as were the drink selections. As with everywhere PLEASE understand that they are short staffed BUTso wonderful. Downtown Lebanon was also a delightful find. If you are in Lebanon NH for the hospitals please get to the downtownfor a wonderful break in your day! Read more
It was okay. The atmosphere was nice, food was pretty good, but our waitress was disconnected from us all night. She didn't... smile once, she kept trying to take our plates away when we weren't finished eating. I turned away to have a conversation withothers and the next thing I know she took away my big salt pretzel that wasn't finished. Bottom line her behavior wasn't welcoming so not so sure when I would return, if at all, to that location. Read more
Great food and wonderful large patio where you can sit with your dog. They get super busy at lunch in the summer so get there... early! The Reuben was loaded with meat and the specialty burger was delicious! The fries weren't great but I loved the thickonion rings. Read more
Food and service was great. They did what they could with what they were provided. We didn't have table settings, napkins nor... plates for our appetizers. There were 6 of us. Explanation given to our table; lack of kitchen staff. 1 cook, 1 cooks assistanta.k.a the dishwasher. No dishwasher(explains lack of table setting and appetizer plates). What I found MOST disturbing was theowner was walking around talking to select customers like they had come in together for a drink and conversation. Now I'm no pubowner but I would help my kitchen staff first. That may explain why so many called out. Respect your staff and appreciate whatthey do, without them you will fail as an owner or manager. My wife and were just passing through a chose them more or less at random, but are we glad we did! I had the burger which was... juicy and prepared as I liked, my wife had the beef stew which was amazing! We had the Irish Cream cheesecake for desert. Ifyou?re hungry, go here! Read more
Really nice pub atmosphere. I was a bit perplexed as to why they had a band warming up in the middle of the day on a... Sunday...didn't seem to fit the mood but luckily I got out before that started. Bartender was nice and attentive and made areally good drink. Ordered wings and they were great. Ordered the Buffalo Mac and Cheese...not so great. It was basically Macand cheese with chicken in it. When I order something like that my expectation is to regret it later...there was just no kickto it at all, kind of flavorless. Luckily the bartender got me some Buffalo sauce which I added and it helped, but I was reallynot impressed with this dish at all. The sauce was runny and i was expecting more of a baked mac and cheese. Overallexperience was pretty good though...I'd definitely go back and try something else on the menu. Read more
