Called ahead to make sure there wasn't a wait and parking on site (I was passing through on a Sunday afternoon around lunch) and... was greeted kindly on the phone with my questions answered no issue. I was sat when I got there, service was great and the foodwas AMAZING!! I was VERY impressed- I got the jerk chicken bowl along with the old bay fries and everything was seasoned verywell! First time at Chelsea?s. Serving sizes were very generous. Food was great! Got Nachos, Chicken Parmesan, California Chicken... Sandwich and Fish and Chips. Fish was a little over cooked, but everything else was delicious. Margaritas were a bit overpriced but balances out with lower meal prices. Great friendly service. We will definitely be returning. I was so looking forward to trying Chelsea?s for their Wings. They claim on their sign out front they are award winning and the... best wings in Hunterdon county. NOT EVEN CLOSE! This was my first time here and I noticed they were very short staffed. Therewas quite a few of us waiting in the hallway for someone to come out and seat us or take our names. We waited a good 15-20minutes before the hostess came out. The restaurant had quite a few empty tables. Once seated, our server John was verypleasant. He took our drink order and our drinks were very good. We then put in an order for 2 French Onion Soups. The FrenchOnion Soup was very good. It had lots of flavor and was piping hot the way I like it. We then put in our order for 10 BuffaloWings Medium heat, and 2 orders of their Basket of Fried Chicken. Our Basket of Fried Chicken came out first. It too was verygood and cooked correctly. We were halfway through our meal and I asked John our server where our wings were. He said he wouldgo check on it. It took another 10 minutes to get the wings. My bf took a bite, then I took a bite. We both noticed that thewings were very dry, chewy and overcooked. The buffalo sauce was supposed to be medium hot and it tasted very watered downnothing close to what a buffalo wing should be. We were both so very disappointed and decided not to eat the wings or take themhome. THEY WERE THAT BAD! We brought this to John our servers attention. His comment was ?next time you come back we?ll try andmake the wings better.?The wings were not even large, just average in size. Totally not worth it. He never offered to take itoff our bill.
