Food was OK not fantastic . Level 2 out of 5 had no heat. Service was a negative 5. 20 minutes seated and two requests for... someone to take get water. It was barely half full when we arrived. Hostesses were rude and dismissive. Waiter messed up checkand couldn't resolve, manager was rude when trying to find check. Go elsewhere. Read more

What a delightful experience! Don’t be fooled by the unassuming location: Mae Ploy’s is top notch. I ordered the spicy... salmon penang and it was great: the broth was creamy with just the right amount of heat and the salmon wasn’t over-cooked as Ihave found it can be when seafood is in a curry or soup. Our server was kind and patient as well; definitely worth going a bitout of the way for. Read more

Pad Ka Pao is Holy Basil Stir-Fry. I ordered and it was not what I got. I got some strange variant. It had sliced pork instead... of ground pork which I was expecting and it smelled like old bamboo shoots. Don't know what you are doing, but the quality offood has gone downhill. Only thing from my order tonight that was remotely ok was the pineapple fried rice. But even that hadcanned pineapple though. I am Thai/Lao and know the authentic food. I am disappointed. Edit. Got food poisoning from this place.Paid almost $100 worth of food. Very disappointed. *I have eaten there many times. Dine in and carry out. I am not trying topaint your restaurant in a bad light. Just making observations as a local customer. If you want I can come in and we candiscuss. Read more

We went on a Saturday night in the early evening and the place was literally packed to capacity... Lucky we got the last table.... On that note, the quality of the food wasn't compromised one bit and was absolutely fabulous! The duck was melt in your mouthdelicious and the egg rolls amazing! There were only two servers as we were informed of short staffing (much like allrestaurants these days) but the service was great considering. The owner paid attention to all her guests making rounds to thetables checking on everyone which was appreciated. The setting is intimate and unique (there is a bank vault too). Fullservice bar and kid friendly as there were several children. Would have loved to visit in warmer weather as there is outdoorseating. Also, there is an extensive sushi menu with a real sous chef. If we lived closer we would certainly become regulars! Read more

The Roy roll sushi, fried dumplings, Thai-garita and soup is all very very full of flavor! The service is amazing, they... accommodated a large crowd very well. The waitress and host were very polite and helpful all throughout the evening and helpedeveryone in our party with anything we asked of them. Highly recommend! Want to go back already to try more from the menu. Read more

This is our second visit. The first time was about 2 years ago. It was a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was... empty. The staff appeared preoccupied on their cell phones and the service was as you can imagine, marginal. Of course, thiswould have been ok , if the food had been better. We were underwhelmed. So after 2 years and hearing friends speak well of theplace we visited again this past Friday evening. Hopeful. It was a gorgeous evening and we sat outdoors . The Restaurent wasquite busy and there was also brisk take out traffic. So we were excited and in anticipation of what we hoped would be a goodmeal. One more place in Lebanon offering another good venue would be very welcome. We really wanted to like the place. Ourwaiter was very nice and truly helpful. Our appetizer arrived, pot stickers, lukewarm and average. We have had better fromCostco frozen fare, but then Costco is good so this was fine. The Sushi was barely average. The bed of rice didn’t appearfresh, the shrimp and crab appeared to be covered with what was some kind of Mayo. Not at all what we excepted ! We were stillhopeful. How can so many people like this place we kept asking ourselves? I am sure our entrees would be better. We ordered theclassic Phad Thai and Rad Na. I am sorry to report, we were disappointed to say the least . We have had Thai so many times, including in Thailand. I did not expect much. This is not a case of unrealistically high expectations! We just wanted so muchto like the place. The food was insipid, tasteless and woefully bad. We left our dishes barely touched. I write this reviewnot to badmouth the place. But they can do better. Much much better! Read more

First time eating here and we're VERY pleasantly surprised! EXCELLENT food and service, great atmosphere right in the heart of... downtown Lebanon. Sidewalk seating was available and great ice cream options across the street for dessert! Highly recommend andwill definitely be dining there again! Read more
