Delicious food. Warm and inviting place. Friendly atmosphere. We got the cheese platter and curds for appetizers. The curds were... pretty standard. The cheese plate was perfect. The combination of cheeses, honey, handmade crackers, peppers, and apples weretruly wonderful. One of the best plates of cheese and crackers we've gotten in a very long time. I got the prime rib dip and mywife got the prime rib. Both were delicious, we ended up swapping our plates because the style of dishes suited us better byswitching them. We had dinner there this past Saturday and it was absolutely amazing. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our waiter was quick... to get our drink order. The appetizers were amazing. I got the prime rib and my husband got the trout that was on theirrestaurant week menu. Both were perfectly cooked. The chocolate mousse dessert is also wonderful. All details are online. Lovely, historic inn with antiques, private, updated baths and plenty to see. Be aware there are no... elevators so choose your room accordingly. We stayed in the George W Bush room and the date fell on 9/11. Dinner wasexcellent..our group had the turkey, shepherds pie and couscous-all well received. Reasonably priced-another plus! Read more

So much fun! Great old hotel with stuff that are truly incredible. Not one person we interacted with was less than a delight.... Felt like talking to old friends. The history is outstanding, and the 4th floor at midnight was creepy. (Allegedly the place ishaunted) If you're in the area, it's well worth your time and money to stay here. Read more

Ate dinner on the patio at the Black Horse Tavern, which is in the same building as The Golden Lamb. Great service, food was... delicious, and you should try the Bee's Knee's for your cocktail drink. I ordered the chicken salad sliders with chips. This wasdelicious. Our table ordered an appetizer plate that had egg salad, pickles, olives, hot peppers, green beans, and thin crisps.This was very good! Nice sharing plate to get your dinner started. We finally made it back here....hadn't been since right before the Pandemic. We had partially used a hand generated gift... certificate & weren't sure if the balance would be honored. Yay! It was. The bacon jam is delicious! Even got to take a littlehome. Fried chicken dinner is ordinary, but our server was just great! Glad we stopped in again! Picked up a bottle of the yummycelery seed salad dressing. It's not only good on salad????, but on strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe & watermelon ????! Youcan also purchase a jar of the bacon jam but it needs refrigeration so I couldn't buy it now....will later when company isexpected.! Read more

Historic hotel in a cute downtown. Rooms are named for people who have stayed there so it's kitschy and fun. I stayed in the... Samuel Clemons room. Parts of the room decor could be updated while still keeping the historic feel--especially the curtains.Food was pretty good. I've had better Chateaubriands but it was still tasty. Sad that I didn't see any ghosts. Service allaround was great. Read more

We went to the Golden Lamb for restaurant week and the service was awesome. Our waitress made sure our drinks were topped off... and had great communication and recommendations. We had the fried chicken and NY strip (restaurant week menu). After dinner wedid a quick tour that was neat! The salted caramel cheesecake should be on the daily menu! Read more
