Follow me for the next adventure!\n\nA solid three stars here. The restaurant is cute as can be! The staff was very helpful and... explained the menu items to me. I felt like it was old school cafeteria-style: grab a tray, go down the line and make yourchoices and then have a seat.\n\nThe food was good. I felt like it could have used a bit heavier smoke flavor and a couple of\'house\' BBQ sauces would not go arwy. But they did have some Sweet Baby Ray sauces I hadn\'t seen before.\n\n?? If this washelpful, hit the ???? Read more

I tried the 3 Meat Sample Plate which included 3 Wings, Brisket, Pulled Pork and 2 sides. I chose Corn Pudding and Coleslaw.... The Brisket had great flavor with a good bark but it was cut in a way that made it a little tough to chew. The Pulled Pork wasvery tender, moist and had good flavor. The wings were good but I wouldn\'t have known they were from a BBQ restaurant. They\'dbe better if they had more smoke flavor. The Corn Pudding was very good. The Coleslaw was okay. I also got the Brisket Dinner. The portion was great. I also tried the Macaroni and Cheese. It was very good. The menu is small but that\'s okay as long asthe food is good. I will try this place again. Read more

Great food, tons of choices on sides, super friendly staff and a great space. My only knock is only sweet baby Ray\'s brand of... sauces but still good. Need to add corn bread side (coming soon I here) and toast sandwich buns would be awesome. Great placeto eat regardless. Read more

Our family loves smoked meats. I smoke my own meats and I have my favorite places to go when I am jonesing for smoke smoked... meats and not enough time to do it my self.\n\nThat being said this will not be one of those places. Here are the positives, thedining area is cute and roomy. The ladies that helped us were extremely helpful and we\'re very thorough in explaining the menuand sides. Now for the food, it was just ok? Fine? Barely acceptable? All of that I think. I got the three meat sampler platethat included, brisket, pulled pork, and chicken wings and green beans and baked beans. The wings were the best thing on theplate tender and ok. Needed a bolder smoke and seasoning. The pulled pork was ok, a little over cooked and we\'ll seasoned butjust this side of dry. The brisket was nearly inedible it was so dry but it was well seasoned. The side we\'re canned, I wouldlay money that the baked beans were from Aldi.\n\nI had high hopes but can\'t recommend this place for BBQ. Read more

What a nice little joint to get bbq at. And compared to others of the same style of restaurant they are a great value for the... amount of food to price. What makes them unique is that they offer a large space to enjoy with the added benefit to which theyhave live music offered at times. It’s obvious they are a small business trying to do something they love. So come on downhere and get a sampler plate to enjoy a mix of meats and wings. Surprise no sausage which to me is a staple but in time they beadding the option. Let’s see next time.\n\n7/11/22\nInteresting, I come in specifically asking for the replied ownermentioning of sausage. And I get denied. lol. Guess I had to wait for the special. Read more

We really wanted to like this local place. Very clean and nice. Staff was friendly and helpful. The food however, was a... disappointment. The brisket, wings and pulled pork were all dry, the only sauce on the table tasted like Sweet baby Ray\'sstraight out of the bottle. Seasoning on the brisket was heavy with cracked black pepper flavor and not much else. The portionsfor the price are small. The only bright spot was the sides. The coleslaw was crisp and fresh, but bland. The greens were verygood, as was the sweet potato casserole. All the food was served from steam trays covered in cling wrap which led me to believeit was leftover from the weekend, especially the meats since there doesn\'t appear to be on site smoking of their meats. Fromreviews, they cater as well, which supports the leftover theory. We may try back on a different day. This was a Monday earlyevening. Read more

New BBQ joint opened up in lovely downtown Lebanon. Folks are super nice. Clean store. Seating for maybe 35-50 people inside.... Does not feel cramped by any means. They have a tiny two person table on the sidewalk right outside the store but guessing theywill add a couple more when it gets warmer? They have live music every Friday night. You walk in, go left to order, then walkback down to dining area. Salad bar. Coffee station. Sodas are Coca-Cola soda machine, two options for teas(sweet andunsweetened). So i picked up for lunch a 1/2lb of brisket and a side of cole slaw. Let’s talk about the brisket, if you loveTexas staple of salt/pepper and smoked with post oak, you may not love this. Don’t get me wrong, it is delicious but it’sseasoned more like a very, very good pot roast. The funniest part is, the nice lady chopped this absolutely blackened end pieceaside and I spoke up immediately that I wanted that. You can watch them cut/pre your food so this is the perfect time to speakup. She asked me if I really wanted it like she was going to toss it aside forever? The other nice lady states, you’re justlike my husband, he lives that part. It was one of the best burnt ends I’d ever had. Think a fatty, melt in your mouth, meatcandy. The cole slaw was pretty good, crisp cabbage, a little bit bland for me so added some spices here at the house. Don’tworry, I didn’t eat all the brisket, I left a few meaty bites for the lovely Mrs. I just adore these small mom and pop places, please go check this place out and support the local families. Next time, I’m going to see if I can talk to the folks runningthe smoker, ask about woods and smoke/cook times. Details to follow. Read more
